Hey Hivers!

The bull market is starting to heat up & I believe our grassroots marketing efforts will pay off big time in the future.

We’ve seen many efforts to promote Hive on Twitter, we’re very happy about that.

Today we bring you another call to action that will help us all meet and recognize great Hive authors.

  • Quote your favorite HIVE author on Twitter.
  • Add his/her Twitter username and link to his or her Hive posts, example: https://peakd.com/@nathanmars/posts.
  • On Twitter use #hive #quoteoftheday #crypto and any other related Hashtags.
  • Put hiveonboard.com in your tweet so newcomers can easily sign up.
  • Comment your Tweet on this post to be eligible for an upvote.

Pro tip: On Peakd.com you can copy and paste the URL of the tweet and it will be embedded.

We will be upvoting the best comments and also checking some of the posts of the best quoted authors. If your recommendation is great we might also check your blog and give some upvotes.

I've been thinking about this strategy for a while.

In future, do you think it could be opened to include other and perhaps even all platforms?

Like imagine there is an account whose job it is to be a dump for people's links showing proof of their share. In people's posts they could leave a mention to the account, and whoever is running it could check and confirm the quality of the share, and upvote / reward accordingly.

If someone's facebook post gets a bunch of traction, then we could reward the person who made more than someone who didn't get much traction, if that makes sense.

They could even run contests and bonuses for high traffic days or times where we think we could reach more people, like an 'on peak' bonus or something.

Like if someone shares to deviant art and gets a bunch of traction we can know about it, or tumblr, or facebook etc.

WE could also have a set of rules for it. To be counted they must include hashtags like you've done here, or specific tags or whatever. IT could be a requirement that the 'share' must be appropriate and follow the rules of wherever it is being shared or it wont be counted. We don't want to annoy the internet after all.

Anyways just my two cents.

I'm thinking of doing my own little marketing incentive program, but it's still very much a wip

The picture in this post has got me thinking about logos. I was wondering what everyone thinks about changing it to something like an illustrated bee or something similar? Maybe we could have a competition to come up with a more friendly logo as it seems too 'techy' and boring to me. Its a hive full of busy bees, everyone loves bees, they are the workers of the world.

Hello, everyone! As part of the #QuoteInitiative, I want to talk to you about one of my favorite authors on HIVE, @ilazramusic.

I found out about Hive and signed up on my own, but what really got me on board and made me stay was @ilazramusic's welcome and early support.

@ilazramusic is a rising Venezuelan artist, an amazing singer/songwriter with a unique style. With his songs and vibes, he can make you feel at a reggae party on the beach, enjoying the warm sun and the sea breeze.

Besides sharing his awesome original songs and covers, he also developed a series of blog posts with video tutorials about Hive and its dApps, so newbies like me could easily understand how to use and make the most of Peakd and 3Speak, for a start. An incredible job, in my opinion.

And on top of all that, @ilazramusic is just starting a new path as vlogger through 3Speak. The first episode of his #CallMeIlaz show was about a Hive-born initiative to promote Hive to new users, just like this one by @theycallmedan. This new project of @ilazramusic's is something I know he can be truly successful thanks to his empathy, his charisma, and his keen spark.

Hey Dan. Thanks for all your amazing initiatives that have been promoting Hive all over the cyber space. I am happy to see your #posh Twitter campaign everywhere here but how about something for Facebook? I just started to share my Hive posts (some of them) on my Facebook. I think for many people, FB is their main centralized social network and it would be great to have Hive promoted over there too. What do you think about it?
