Steps to sign up for a free account on Honouree

Here are the steps to sign up for a free account on Honouree through HiveOnboard:

1.1. Click the "Sign Up" button on the Honouree website https://honouree.com

to go to the HiveOnboard sign-up page at https://signup.hive.io/

1.2. Scroll down and select the "HiveOnboard" free Sign up option.

1.3. If you cannot find the "HiveOnboard" free Sign up option, instead, go directly to this link: https://hiveonboard.com/create-account

1.4. Click "GOT A REFERRER?" then type doctorgen and click SAVE.

1.5. Type your username then click the checkbox stating "I agree to the terms of service" and click CONTINUE.

1.6. Click DOWNLOAD BACKUP then save it securely or COPY TO CLIPBOARD then paste it securely to keep your username, password, and private keys which are all important for you to use your account.

1.7. Read the critical information about your account:

WHY DO I HAVE TO SAVE THIS INFO?

  • Because no one can recover your account if you don't have this info.
  • If you loose these keys you will loose your account and any currency in the account.
  • These keys are how you will be able to sign in and use sites.

SIGNING IN
After this you are likely going to sign into a website using a login software

  • The POSTING KEY can be used for login software like PeakLock and the Hive Keychain browser extension
  • The ACTIVE KEY will help you login using HiveSigner software

You can change your password later, but for now you have to keep it safe. We don't offer account recovery yet, so be aware of the fact if you lose your password, your account cannot be recovered.

1.8. Click the checkbox stating "I (the soon to be owner of @username) declare that I understand the requirement of safely securing these private keys. I understand that neither HiveOnboard nor any other entity on this planet is capable of restoring or changing these keys if lost. Meaning I really did save these keys in a safe location that I will be able to find later."

1.9. Click CREATE HIVE ACCOUNT then select your country code from the dropdown list then type your mobile number and click REQUEST SMS so that the one-time-code will be sent to it

1.10. Wait for the one-time-code in your mobile number then type it in the textbox saying "Enter your Confirmation Code:" and CLICK SUBMIT CODE

1.11. Log in to your Honouree account using the username you provided, the password, and the keys generated for you.

And that is it! You now have a free Honouree account and are ready to start using the platform.
