Siempre que puedo compartir con ustedes, me llena de gran satisfacción porque no solo puedo mostrarles un nuevo proyecto, sino también apreciar los hermosos diseños de talentosas costureras como ustedes. Ante todo, demos gracias a Dios por darnos un día más para seguir luchando por lo que queremos. Les cuento un poco sobre este hermoso proyecto que hice en casa, aprovechando mi tiempo libre. Es un lindo conjunto para niñas: fresco, cómodo y muy bonito para que luzcan hermosas con comodidad y estilo. Como mamás costureras, siempre estamos en "modo costura", aprovechando al máximo nuestro tiempo y las telas que tenemos en casa para hacer algo lindo para nuestros hijos. Debo mencionar que hace tiempo que no hago ropa para niños, ya que la mayoría de los pedidos son para niñas. La verdad es que me había olvidado un poco de mi máquina por estar trabajando fuera de casa, pero ahora tengo más tiempo libre y puedo retomar lo que me gusta hacer.

Above all, let's thank God for giving us another day to keep striving for what we want. Let me tell you a little about this beautiful project I made at home, taking advantage of my free time. It's a lovely outfit for girls: cool, comfortable, and very pretty so they can look beautiful in comfort and style. As sewing moms, we're always in "sewing mode," making the most of our time and the fabrics we have at home to make something beautiful for our children. I should mention that it's been a while since I've made children's clothing, as most of the orders are for girls. The truth is, I had kind of forgotten about my sewing machine because I was working outside the home, but now I have more free time and can get back to what I love to do.

Para empezar este precioso conjunto, doblaremos la tela. Luego, colocaremos el patrón encima (en este caso, shorts talla 6) trazaremos el contorno y cortaremos dos piezas: una delantera y una trasera. Recuerda que en la delantera, justo en la parte superior, debemos bajarla unos centímetros y cortarla.

To begin this lovely set, we'll fold the fabric. Then, we'll place the pattern (in this case, size 6 shorts) on top, trace the outline, and cut out two pieces: a front and a back. Remember that on the front piece, right at the top, we need to lower it a few centimeters and cut it.

Comenzaremos uniendo las piezas traseras con una puntada recta y una puntada en zigzag a lo largo del borde. Luego, continuaremos cosiendo las piezas delanteras, también por el centro.

Para coserla a la parte superior del short tenemos que unir los extremos de la elástica primero y luego con zigzag coserla para que se nos haga más fácil. Luego doblamos y hacemos costura recta para terminar con este lindo short.

To finish these cute shorts, we'll take a 5 cm wide and 20 cm long elastic band. To sew it to the top of the shorts, we need to join the ends of the elastic and then sew it with a zigzag stitch to make it easier. Then we fold it over and sew a straight seam to complete these cute shorts.

Es hora de hacer la blusa que combinará con el short. Para obtener estas piezas, doblaremos la tela y colocaremos el patrón encima. En este caso, sigo trabajando con la misma talla. Colocamos una franela sobre la tela, trazamos el contorno y luego cortamos un par de piezas con la tijera. La pieza delantera, justo en el escote, debe ser más pronunciada que la trasera.

It's time to make the blouse that will go with the shorts. To get these pieces, we'll fold the fabric and place the pattern on top. In this case, I'm still working with the same size. Amigos, ¡así quedó este lindo conjunto de niña! Es un proyecto encantador que podemos hacer fácilmente en casa para consentir a nuestras princesitas. Aunque la máquina de coser se puso un poco nerviosa con la tela al final, dejando algunas costuras sueltas, pude arreglarla a tiempo y terminar este precioso proyecto. ¡Espero que les guste!
