## “OMG, What’s That Sound?” ![](https://usermedia.actifit.io/5C872B97-AEFA-463A-A62A-E01E401FD2031791243569.7636719) Mid-afternoon is the purr-fect time for a nap, but today NisaBoo opted out in order to hang out in our media room on her hyyge little elephant blankie. Not long after she settled in, there was a recurring staccato sounding right outside the window. Although you can only see one in the photo, it turns out there were *four* turkeys right under the window, about three feet away from where NisaBoo sat. Her ears were dramatically cupped forward, as if to say, “this is *my* house!” She appeared proud of herself. Those turkeys kept moving along. They didn’t dare come in the house! Of course, @bitterirony looked up the specific sound that he and kitty heard. It’s called a Putt. And it means NisaBoo wins the day. With the house all safe & sound under her guard, Cat Daddy and took our stroll, worry-free. ![](https://i.ecency.com/DQmRZ8Ze7kYPY8SqBWC3UoQTYAqtaJf2ukjMuWQyippNMHV/img_3806.png)
