Aquí mi receta a mi estilo.
> Today I’m sharing a delicious recipe that reminds me of my dear friend Sandra, who’s from the state of Zulia. The first time she came to visit us, she made us a dish called “patacones,” and I was hooked—because even though I eat plantains every day, whether fried or green as “tostón,” I’d never tried them this way before. Plantains are a fruit that can be eaten ripe or green; they’re rich in starch, fiber, potassium, and vitamins B, A, and C, so eating them provides various health benefits. Patacones are made from green or semi-ripe plantains, which are flattened and can be stuffed with shredded chicken or fish, or simply with shredded cheese. Every time I make this recipe, I remember her fondly, and I hope I can see her again someday, since it’s been 15 years since I last saw her. Here’s my recipe, my way.
