I don't know mates. I am neither a religious nor a superstitious person. But, it surprises me and slightly unsettles me a bit to have to interpret a series of strange signals and unusual events that have been occurring to me with increasing frequency throughout this year, 2026. And that keep happening to me more often than ever before. In fact, nothing really too out of this world. But events which definitely give you plenty to think about regarding why they are happening so frequently and so often lately. Uncommon things, such as the fact that, so far along this year, I have accidentally and through various unsuspected channels, I've stumbled upon and reconnected with a large number of dear and cherished people from whom, and from whose lives, I had heard nothing for decades. And yet, on many occasions, I had been thinking about them. And I was wondering if this has happened to you too lately, or at some point. https://images.hive.blog/DQmQASUJQbiFCJpqA2gTvbSi9eBh37QbJiAJpMvDCAxXHo1/DecodingTheUnknown.jpg

The curious thing about this case is, that these are endearing people I hadn't heard anything from or known anything about them for decades. And now, in the most unexpected and accidental way, I’ve run into them again and re-established contact. Which of course, has made me very happy, but certainly it has also given me some esoteric things to think about. Especially due to the high frequency and unprecedented number of incidents that have occurred recently in a kinda inexplicable manner. Could it be that, at my age, providence is trying to tell me something? Could it be that, at my age, providence is giving me now the chance to reconnect with a number of cherished people, so that I can now bid them a proper farewell which was something I was unable to do the first time around? Uhm, ¿Who Knows? Right? These all seem like legitimate doubts and questions to raise, given the unusual nature of the circumstances and how they unfolded. Because the rarity of these events isn't something that has only occurred so far this year. Nope, they’ve only intensified over the course of this year, but in reality, they started happening nearly a year ago. Yeah, almost a year ago, when I published it the first time in a [post](https://peakd.com/hive-192806music/@por500bolos/once-upon-a-time-almost-26-years-ago-it-s-my-meme-186) on November 14, 2025. But since then, these fortunate and unexpected happy re-encounters have been accelerating and occurring in the strangest and most unusual ways imaginable. For example, some of these renewed contacts came through unexpected emails and WhatsApp messages from people not on my contact list, meaning I hadn't the faintest idea who the hell the sender might be. And upon further inquiry, they turned out to belong to people very dear to me whose lives I hadn't heard anything about for many years. In some other cases, simply by participating and commenting again in certain very old and nearly abandoned Facebook groups where neither I nor most of the people I knew had posted anything for years, and suddenly a heap of old chaps & lads sprang up to welcome me and celebrate the fact that we were still alive. Sheesh! ¡Wadda nice surprise! But the strangest and most unusual way of re-establishing contact with someone dear and cherished was what happened to me this morning. Since as my usual habit, I was on my morning strolling through YouTube to catch up on the day's news and get updated. When I suddenly felt like clicking on a video that, under normal circumstances, I wouldn't have clicked on to watch. But for some uncanny reason, this one appealed to me. And ¡Holy Moly! what do you think could have been the astonishing, pleasant and unlikely surprise that I got after watching the entire video? ¿Could you guess it? ¿Huh? Well, would you believe me if I told you that the huge and unexpected surprise I got when I watched the full video was...? Was that I realized that the interviewee and main protagonist of the [video documentary](https://youtu.be/-IhUE3IbSH0) featuring a peculiar property here in my country, she was a very dear friend of mine, the owner of that property and from who I hadn't heard or knew anything of her in over thirty years? ¿Could you believe it? Oh yes, of course. Instant joy folks! But obviously, that after so much time had passed, it was necessary for me to watch the entire video. And only after having listened all along her tone of voice, observe her way of expressing herself and her lovely way of conducting herself. It was only after hearing her name that I was able to put all the pieces together and recognize that it was my dear friend. Because at our age and in more than thirty years without having seen each other, it's logical to assume that one could have changed quite a bit physically. So, on this occasion and for a change, I was the one who tried to contact her immediately after recognizing her. And I am sure you can now actually guess just how much my joy at finding her again grew once she replied to my message, saying how much she remembered me and how happy she was that I had reached out. ¡What made my day! However, and to continue with the philosophical and mysterious subject of this post. I'm afraid that I still can't get this esoteric idea out of my head as to why these sort of rare events are happening to me so often lately. Has something similar to this happened to you, too? **¿Yes?** Okay, then share your story in the comments section.
