I hope you enjoy the result!.* >*Buenas tardes gente linda de @needleworkmonday! I had considered a pleated schoolgirl-style skirt, but the way the fabric was shaped at the front didn't allow me to make the most of the material. In the end, I settled on a second option: creating a skirt with an overlay that formed a pointed shape at both the front and the back.* >*La tela era una de mis favoritas, aunque no sabía si encajaría con el modelo seleccionado, modificando un poco su estructura y añadiéndole otro tejido que no fuese estampado, pero que combinara con las rosas rosadas de la tela estampada. Logrando al final un perfecto equilibrio y un diseño unico y original.* **Muestra:** ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ![](https://i.ecency.com/DQmVrDJkEVo1tjdCtCp8BCWcgaQHUbNrcTQwgHieh1wqQ2f/1790984444009.jpg) **Tejido:** ⬇️⬇️⬇️ ![](https://i.ecency.com/DQmVY98bC2gG55SvPCM6jYfQHD9YNwLgbEGqNck18mhcRQh/1790984539750.jpg) ![](https://i.ecency.com/DQmZ5UnyjaNJ4rQf2imwrG5LMB7vyHFhb6M6GLQiaPEoq5C/1790984540389.jpg) *Here's a mini-tutorial, with a small photo collage, showing the step-by-step process and the materials I used to recreate this garment. Next, I took the front and back panels and hemmed the top and bottom edges, making sure both pieces matched in length after the hemming was complete.* >**Procedimiento** **1er paso:** *Para este proyecto comence sacando todas las partes que conformarían mi top. I proceeded to sew the elastic threads to the back, pulling carefully as I increased the number of threads. Then, I joined both pieces at the sides using a French seam, leaving the seam allowances concealed..* >**2do paso:** *Seguido procedo a coser los hilos elásticos a la parte de atras, alando cuidadosamente a medida que iba aumentando la cantidad de hilos. Quedando los márgenes de costura ocultos.* ![](https://i.ecency.com/DQmeoTi3cvS34bZa6jtBmqdRgjrXV62xAVdgA47hcXcKJFP/1790985566616.jpg) **Step 3:** *I joined the sleeves along the side seam by folding the fabric strip in half, resulting in a single piece with just one seam. Before doing this, however, I attached the lace trim to the lower edge, ensuring that all seam allowances would ultimately be concealed within a French seam. At the top, I created a small casing—similar to a hem—to thread the elastic through, thereby gathering the sleeves.
