'Steemit Spam Scumbags' | Avoiding Collusion with Crypto Crooks
The 'SSS' are literally doing nothing but profiting off other's posts. For someone new to the platform, or still unfamiliar, an opportunity to be seen for a 'small amount of steem' seems more than ok!
I received this message this morning, haven't gotten one like it since I first started using the platform last year.

As you can see this guy is posting literally nothing, the transparency of the blockchain is beautiful, and this guy is just resteeming and upvoting...
Not only are these scumbags promoting an absolute bullshit offer with their army of upvote bots, they end up hurting the user as it seems like collusion (even though new users just want their posts to be seen).
One thing so astounding to me is how STUPID these people are, they are promoting this scam to literally everyone! At least they are in essence burying their own grave, but this really has to end.
And also note the constant power downs on this account, he is leeching 5-8 steem a week I figure, and honestly that is too much!
If there are nearly 10k spam accounts all leeching at once, we will witness the destruction of this eco system. Promote quality, for the love of the future. @sherlockholmes @sadkitten
FLAG FLAG FLAG! Just flag anything robotic, steemit doesn't need that. We want real people with real things to offer. And any comment on your post that is blatantly non human, just look into their profile and flag their last post. You wouldn't let trash pile up on your front yard would you?
Edit: As you can see this army of downvotes is flagging my posts, we need to put and end to this bullshit. Honestly!

@jones420 is a scammer also. He created thousands of accounts and is using those to upvote people's posts, telling them they are getting 200 upvotes from real users.

He has also hacked @msg768's messaging tool and is spamming the entire blockchain with his scam.

...is the main account @jones420 uses for his exchanges and spam and what not, it seems he has delegated power from somewhere, I don't know how that works really, but it's time to recognize...and abolish.
I can name 3 people off the top my head spamming their resteem "service" for ONLY 2 Steem. All their followers are from their follow for follow crap too so even if they resteem your post you won't get your 2 Steem back. Bunch of clowns!
Make a post listing those other names. We want to be targeted by these people, it only brings them out of the shadows.
But remember, spamming is if they are sending messages to non-followers. If you are a follower of someone, they can send you messages. Then it's up to you to unfollow them if you don't want to hear from them again. The only one I know of who is spamming non-followers (they don't have an option to unfollow and stop his messages) is @jones420.

Yep, this stuff all needs to be flagged into oblivion so it's invisible... and the perpetrators called out.
But also a reminder: There's no "they" coming to fix it for us, WE are the "they" who need to fix it, and that means WE get to burn a little voting power on some minor flags (downvotes) when we come upon spammy posts/comments.

It is very tempting for a new comer (like me) to take up these offers because its very hard to get noticed, and I must say that I do feel that there are people colluding to help each other to make money on this site.
