Homer, the Halibut Fishing Capital of the World

Welcome. This is my beautiful home, Homer, Alaska. Homer has earned the title "The Halibut Fishing Capital of the World" due to the high populations of halibut living in the Kachemak Bay. It receives most of its income from the thousands of tourists who travel there every year. If I hadn't grown up there, it would certainly be on my bucket list :)
