Dal jsem si tu „práci“ a pokusil se zjistit aspoň přibližný rok vzniku staveb, které dnes navštívíme. Mimo Evropu to je v Koloradu (USA) a na Novém Zélandu.

Že @ladytruckview cestuje po celé Evropě už víme. Dnes nás pozvala do města Torgau (Německo). Zaujal ji zámek Hartenfels, jehož základy byly položeny v 15 století. Chcete zajímavost? Působil zde reformátor Martin Lutter a součástí zámku je nejstarší protestanský kostel na světě. Fotografie obdržela cenu za účast na soutěži.

She was interested in Hartenfels Castle, the foundations of which were laid in the 15th century. Want something interesting? Další „stavba“ nás čeká v Colorado Springs (USA). @klub-wloczykijow nás pozval na velice mysteriozní místo, které „stavěli“ samotní bohové. Red Rock Window je součástí kamenných věží Siamese Twings v Garden of gods. Je tu někdo erudovaný geolog a pokusí se určit „stáří okna“? Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce května.
Next “construction” awaits us in Colorado Springs (USA). @klub-wloczykijow invited us to a very mysterious place that was “built” by the gods themselves. Red Rock Window is part of the Siamese Twins stone towers in the Garden of the Gods. Is there anyone here who is an erudite geologist who will try to determine the “age of the window”? The photo won a special prize with the right to participate in the additional competition for the best photo of the month of May.
Nejmladší stavbou, kterou dnes uvidíme, je Wynyard Crossing bridge v Aucklandu na Novém Zélandu. Na večerní procházku nás sem pozval @vcclothing. Ještě rok uvedení do provozu: 2011. Fotografie získala první cenu.
The youngest building we will see today is the Wynyard Crossing bridge in Auckland, New Zealand. @vcclothing invited us here for an evening walk. It was put into operation in 2011. The photo won first prize.
Další stavba na nás čeká na jihu Moravy ve městě Vranov nad Dyjí. @hairyfairy nás pozval na zdejší zámek, který vznikl koncem 17 století na místě původního gotického hradu. Zdejší zajímavostí je velký sál předků, který má na podlaze šachová pole. Zdejší panstvo si krátilo čas hrou v šachy s živými figurami (služebnictvo). Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
Next building awaits us in the south of Moravia, in the town of Vranov nad Dyjí. @hairyfairy invited us to the local chateau, which was built in the late 17th century on the site of the original Gothic castle. The local attraction is the large ancestral hall, which has chess boards on the floor. The local nobility used to pass the time by playing chess with live figures (servants). The photo won the third prize.
Poslední zastávku si uděláme v moravské metropoli. Brno se pyšní nejednou zajímavou stavbou. Večerní pohled na katedrálu sv. Petra a Pavla (tzv. Petrov) nám nabídl @lukee66f. Vznik této stavby sahá do druhé poloviny 12 století. Místní raritou je zvonění poledne o hodinu dříve. „Můžou za to Švédi“ :-). Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
We will make our last stop in the Moravian metropolis. Brno boasts many interesting buildings. An evening view of the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul (so-called Petrov) was offered to us by @lukee66f. The creation of this building dates back to the second half of the 12th century. A local rarity is the noon bell ringing an hour earlier. “The Swedes are to blame for that” :-). The photo won the second prize.

Nevím, nevšiml jsem si. Letos jsem s dětmi jen procházeli kolem, stavili se na toaletě a v obchodu se suvenýry a zase pokračovali dál.
