Mobile Phone: A Crucial Tool In My Work Space

There are a lot of skills and occupations out there. One of the major things that makes our skills stand out is the various tools we use to enhance productivity in carrying out designated job duties and responsibilities. Every skill, occupation, or business has a unique supply to the economic status of a country. For effective productivity there are important tools that can't be left out.

Although sometimes does tool might look irrelevant to people who don't understand it's value but the truth is that without this tools work can't be done effectively. For instance, can you imagine a painter going to work without a painting brush. Please, what will such a painter use to carry out his duty effectively?

If being ask what tool is important to me as related to enhancing my productivity at work? I will tell you it's my mobile phone. Even though many people think the use of mobile phone can be a form of distraction but that's not it for me, it's my major tool and I work with it daily.

Recently, I was able to work in a public health space where I needed to work accompanied with different job responsibilities. My phone was an important tool in carrying out this duties effectively.

While on field I needed to collect data and cross check some checklist using my phone. I could say my phone is a means to show that I'm present at work. The organization I worked with designed a mobile application which tracks every workers location, the time they started working and the time a worker finished working for the day. So you can see how important my phone is, I remember a day I forgot my phone at home. I had to return back home irrespective of the distance. Without my phone I can't work, so most time I do put my phone inside my bag so that I won't forget.

One thing I love most about mobile phone is that it is portable and can easily be moved from one place to another. I find it easier to write daily report using my phone because it is quite more easily accessible for me unlike laptops.

Outside public health space, my phone has been of great help to me as an academic researcher. It is quite easier for me in reading latest published journal when using my phone outside. I remembered while I was doing my post graduate research. It was much easier for me to search for research topic related to my thesis. When an idea comes to my mind it is much easier for me to write them down using the note pad on my mobile phone. The keep note application on my mobile phone as being of great help to me when it comes to writing down ideas that comes to my mind.

Even here on Hive, my mobile phone is the major tool i use regularly. I find it more easier to read, comment and publish post on hive using mobile phone. This is because it more portable and quiet accessible for me than laptop

In conclusion, My mobile phone is my major tool. Without it, I can't be efficient and productive at work.
