I thought it was for the garden, but it turned out for the house

I was driving home from work and saw a small flower shop. And I just got a salary and now I have a rule, I buy something for the garden from every salary. Additionally I always try to maintain such small stores, it is very difficult for a small business now.

I was thinking of buying petunias. But I saw these flowers and just couldn't pass by. Delicate pink, peach, with such lush inflorescences - you can't take your eyes off them. I took both without even asking the name. True, the seller, a young guy, and he didn't really know what he was selling.

At home, I began to find information about what I bought. It turned out to be Levisia. I've never heard of anything like that. I started reading and it turned out that this is a rather interesting plant — it looks like a cross between a succulent and an ordinary flower. The leaves are juicy, collected in a rosette, and thin flower stalks with a bunch of flowers grow from the middle. Very nice.

At first I thought it was a street plant and I would plant it in a flower bed. But no — Levisia feels great in the pot at home. Even better, because it does not like rain and excessive humidity. So my balcony or window sill will fit her perfectly.

Tomorrow I'm going to get the pots and soil - I'll transplant it properly. I read that the main thing is good drainage, because the roots rot from the stagnation of water. Still loves light, but without direct sun. In general, nothing complicated, I hope I won't let you down 😅

That's how the "garden update" turned out. The garden will have to wait, but the room is now beautiful. I even put things in order there today. And in general, sometimes the best purchases are the ones I didn't plan. I'm glad you didn't pass by and that the plants turned out to be perennial.
