Splinterlands | The SNIPPET is a Cool 3 Mana Sneaky Monster

Hi there my fellow Splinterlands Warriors,
Welcome back to another awesome Splinterlands post guys and gals, and I hope all of you are doing great in your lives and enjoying a fresh and pleasant day with your family and friends. For those of you who are actively grinding in this amazing web3 card game and trying hard to improve your NFT cards and asset collection, I believe most of you are currently busy battling in the season-ranked arena and trying to climb even higher in trophies before this season slowly moves forward. Right now, if we take a look at the ongoing season timer, there are still around 12 days and 18 hours left before the season reset happens, so there is still enough time left for grinding rewards, missions, and leaderboard dreams, so let's dive right in.

Talking about my own progress in the frontier mode of this game, I am currently playing in the highest Gold I league tier with a trophy count of around 3,240. My goal for this season remains simple, reaching at least the 4,200 trophy mark and then seeing how far I can push from there.

Apart from ranked battles, today I also got something pretty interesting from the Frontier wheel. I landed on the rare Pit Challenge reward and fought my very first Pit Challenge battle. I decided to choose the easy difficulty mode and honestly the battle went smoothly. I used the Water Archon lineup combined with multiple magic attackers and managed to defeat the boss without much trouble while also collecting a decent bunch of Sparks along the way.

On the other hand, if we take a look at the weekly Frontier raffle, I currently hold 18 entries and there are still around 5 days and 17 hours left before the raffle draw takes place. This time once again I will try to grind toward around 54 to 57 entries before the timer runs out. Apart from that, today I also opened a whopping total of 9 Foundation packs that I had earned from the last 3 days of daily rewards. The pulls honestly turned out amazing because I managed to get 3 Epic cards, 2 Gold Foil Rare cards, 7 Rare cards including 2 Archons, and the rest Common cards.

Snippet
Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be discussing another interesting monster from the newest Escalation mini card set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be talking about Snippet. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster card, let us take a deeper dive without any further delay.
Snippet is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the newest Escalation mini card set. This monster belongs to the Life element and comes from the Mundane Beast bloodline. By rarity, this card is an Epic monster, so you will require a total of 46 CC cards in order to upgrade it to its maximum level. One of the biggest highlights of this monster is definitely its tiny mana cost of only 3, which makes it extremely flexible for almost every type of battle, especially low mana limit matches and Little League rulesets. The attack type of this monster is Melee, and despite its small mana cost, it still carries decent stats along with several unique support abilities. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of three abilities that make it both offensive and supportive at the same time. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to find out more.

BRONZE
At level 2, this monster already possesses decent stats that consist of 2 melee attack power at 2 speed with 1 armor and 3 health. Apart from these stats, it also gains one of the most popular melee abilities in the game, Sneak. This ability is extremely useful because it allows the monster to directly attack enemy backline units and weaker support monsters hiding at the rear.

SNEAK – Targets the enemy unit in the last position.
SILVER
When you upgrade this monster further to level 3, its stats remain the same, but it unlocks another interesting ability called Bloodline Tribute. This ability becomes very useful if you intentionally build a lineup using multiple monsters from the same bloodline.

BLOODLINE TRIBUTE – When defeated, all allied units of the same bloodline gain +1 health, speed, and armor, along with +1 power to each shared bloodline.
GOLD
As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 5, its stats improve and it now carries 3 melee attack power at 3 speed with 1 armor and 4 health. Even though it does not gain any additional abilities at this level, the improved attack and speed make it significantly more dangerous during battles.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 6, its stats remain the same as the previous level, but it unlocks another useful ability called Kindred Spirit: Relentless Strike. This ability can become extremely deadly when combined with proper Kindred monsters because Relentless Strike helps attacks deal true damage even against heavily protected enemies.

KINDRED SPIRIT: RELENTLESS STRIKE – At the start of battle, an adjacent unit with Kindred gains Relentless Strike.
Last but not least, I think the biggest strength of this monster is definitely its tiny mana cost. For only 3 mana, you get a monster with decent stats, Sneak attacks, and several useful support abilities. This makes it extremely usable in almost every type of battle, especially low mana matches and Little League rulesets. Personally, Sneak remains one of my favorite abilities in the game because it directly targets enemy backline monsters unless interrupted by Taunt or frontline targeting effects. This makes Snippet very effective at hunting weak support monsters hiding behind enemy tanks. Another very interesting ability is Bloodline Tribute. If you intentionally build your lineup around the same bloodline, this monster can provide huge stat boosts to allied units once it gets defeated, which can completely shift the momentum of battle. Finally comes the Kindred Spirit: Relentless Strike ability. If you use proper Kindred monsters adjacent to this card, they gain Relentless Strike and become much stronger against heavily protected enemies. The only difficult part is deciding which monsters you want to sacrifice space for in order to fully utilize these Kindred combinations. Overall, I think Snippet is a very cool and flexible low mana sneaky monster that combines decent attack power with several strategic support abilities. What do you think?
I hope you enjoyed reading my post about SNIPPET. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
