Thanks to everyone’s support, my surgery for facial nerve paralysis went smoothly, and I was discharged from the hospital on June 2. However, I now face a long road of rehabilitation ahead. I don’t know how long the rehab will take.

For the foreseeable future, I’ll have to visit the ENT, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and psychiatry departments. Going to so many appointments is incredibly exhausting. Even today, after I post this, I have to head to the hospital.

Since I can’t seem to shake off the fatigue, there may be long gaps between my posts on Hive.blog, but please understand that I’m reading every single Japanese post, so I hope you’ll bear with me.

The painting in the photo is one I drew before I developed facial nerve palsy. With the season changing, a cool-looking painting is just what we need, isn’t it?

おかげ様で顔面神経麻痺の手術は無事終わり、６月２日に退院しました。しかしこれからはリハビリの日々が待っています。リハビリがどれくらいの期間かかるかは分かりません。

私はこれからしばらく耳鼻咽喉科、眼科、内科、精神科に通院しなければなりません。こんなに通院するとめちゃくちゃしんどいです。今日もこれを投稿したら通院です。

疲れがとれないのでHive.blogに書くのも間が空いてばかりになるかもしれませんが、日本語の投稿はすべて読んでいますのでそういうことでご了承ください。

写真の絵は顔面神経麻痺の発病前に描いた絵です。これからの季節、涼し気な絵がいいですよね。
