Yesterday, I needed to go to the bank to resolve some issues in person. While I was (impatiently) waiting in line to be served, I was very shocked to notice how people are being swayed by the recommendations of countless digital influencers who claim to understand financial investments (in a general and unrestricted way), promising rewards far above average... Through partnerships that are veritable pyramid schemes. Let the games begin.
The number of new creators of this type of content grows absurdly every day, spreading like a virus. It is quite true that not all of them are disposable names, because there is a small percentage of influencers who really have a great base of knowledge (theoretical and practical) to work within this segment to the point of advising (or even directly influencing) other people on how they should invest their own money.
In any case, unfortunately, it's the bad side that ends up getting more attention within this whole scenario (because they're usually "tied" to partnerships that often remain hidden from the general public) and manages - without much effort - to enter the minds of these people (who tend to be more uninformed... and here it's very worthwhile to emphasize the importance of seeking the known before taking any step within this branching universe).
Without any exaggeration, around me, there were different types of financial content being consumed by a group of people of different age ranges while they used their smartphones or talked about this same type of subject (traditional economics and crypto economics) face to face. The "combining thread" in this scenario was precisely the digital influencers, who, like true wizards of lies, seem to cast spells on lost minds.
How sad can this reality be?
Ayer, tuve que ir al banco para resolver algunos asuntos en persona. Mientras esperaba (impacientemente) en la fila, me sorprendió mucho ver cómo la gente se deja influenciar por las recomendaciones de innumerables influencers digitales que afirman entender de inversiones financieras (de forma general y sin restricciones), prometiendo ganancias muy superiores a la media... A través de colaboraciones que son auténticos esquemas piramidales. Que empiecen los juegos.
El número de nuevos creadores de este tipo de contenido crece de forma desmesurada cada día, extendiéndose como un virus. Es cierto que no todos son nombres desechables, porque existe un pequeño porcentaje de influencers que realmente poseen una sólida base de conocimientos (teóricos y prácticos) para desenvolverse en este sector hasta el punto de asesorar (o incluso influir directamente) a otras personas sobre cómo deberían invertir su dinero.
En cualquier caso, lamentablemente, es el lado negativo el que termina ganando protagonismo en todo este escenario (porque suelen estar “atados” a alianzas que a menudo permanecen ocultas al público) y logra - sin mucho esfuerzo - influir en la mente de estas personas (que tienden a estar menos informadas... y aquí es muy importante recalcar la importancia de informarse bien antes de dar cualquier paso en este complejo universo).
Sin exagerar, a mi alrededor, un grupo de personas de distintas edades consumía diversos tipos de contenido financiero mientras usaban sus teléfonos inteligentes o conversaban cara a cara sobre el mismo tema (economía tradicional y criptoeconomía). El “hilo conductor” de este escenario eran precisamente los influencers digitales, quienes, como auténticos maestros de la manipulación, parecen hechizar a las mentes perdidas.
¿Hasta qué punto puede ser triste esta realidad?
Ontem, eu precisei ir ao banco para resolver alguns problemas pessoalmente. Enquanto eu estava (impacientemente) esperando na fila para ser atendido, eu fiquei muito assustado ao notar como as pessoas estão se deixando levar pelas recomendações de inúmeros influenciadores digitais que dizem entender sobre aportes financeiros (de um modo geral e irrestrito), prometendo as recompensas muito acima da média... Através de parcerias que são verdadeiras pirâmides. Que comecem os jogos.
O número de novos criadores desse tipo de conteúdo cresce absurdamente a cada novo dia, se espalhando como um vírus. É bem verdade que nem todos eles são nomes descartáveis, porque há uma pequena parcela de influenciadores que realmente tem uma ótima base de conhecimento (teórico e prático) para trabalhar dentro desse segmento a ponto de aconselhar (ou até mesmo influenciar diretamente) as outras pessoas como elas devem investir o próprio dinheiro.
De todo modo, infelizmente, é o lado ruim acaba conseguindo um maior destaque dentro de todo esse cenário (porque geralmente estão “amarrados” com parcerias que muitas vezes permanecem ocultas do público em geral) e consegue - sem fazer muito esforço - entrar na mente dessas pessoas (que tendem a ser mais desinformadas... e aqui vale muito à pena ressaltar a importância da busca pelo conhecido antes de dar qualquer passo dentro desse universo ramificado).
Sem exagero algum, ao meu redor, haviam diferentes tipos de conteúdos financeiros sendo consumidos por um grupo de pessoas com faixas etárias diversas enquanto elas usavam os seus smartphones ou falavam sobre esse mesmo tipo de assunto (economia tradicional e economia cripto) frente a frente. O “fio condutor” nesse cenário era justamente os influenciadores digitais, que como verdadeiros magos das mentiras, parecem lançar feitiços sobre as mentes perdidas.
