Book Review: Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban

At the beginning of this year, I decided to read Harry Potter novels 1 through 7, including the play, The Cursed Child. I was so impressed that I regretted not reading them until now. Several factors kept me from collecting them, but the main reason was because I had already seen the films. It turns out, after reading the books, they are even more exciting than the films, and they are amazing, and they are still relevant to our times.

This time I want to talk about the third book. I finished it in the first month, along with the previous two. The first three books are not as thick, so I read them more quickly than the later versions. Just like the movie version, this third book is my favorite of all the books.

In this third book, Harry has become a teenager. He has begun to have the confidence to fight against his evil aunt and uncle. Moreover, other family members continue to insult his parents. Aunt Marge, suddenly stays at the Dursleys' house and demands that Harry behave, otherwise he will not get an autograph to visit Hogsmeade, because the village sells various iconic foods and toys. But because of Aunt Marge's constant insulting behavior, Harry finally can't resist and turns Aunt Marge into a bubble that flies through the sky. He then escapes by express bus from his house to Diagon Alley. There he spends the rest of his vacation doing homework while waiting for his friends to arrive.

What confused Harry was when an Azkaban prisoner suddenly escaped, and Harry was warned by the Ministry to be careful. Harry, who didn't really understand, finally asked Mr. Weasley. It turned out that Sirius Black was the one who betrayed the Potter family and became Voldemort's lackey, on the night his parents were murdered.

I'm sure you know what happens next, even if you haven't read the novel.

Because I saw the movie before reading the book, I can visualize everything in my head. Including each character, and of course, the Golden Trio.

This third book contains many stories never told in the films. It reveals every tiny detail, to the point that even I couldn't believe it was actually happening. My favorite scene in the book is when Peter Pettigrew finally returns to his human form after 20 years as the Weasleys' pet rat.

Like I said before that I really love the third book.

Anyway... I rate this book with 5 from 5 start; Superb!
