MONOMAD: Goat Herder

Pak Ngah, as the villagers call him, works as a goat breeder in the highlands of the Lamreh hills in Aceh Besar, Indonesia. His real name is Kamaruzaman. Currently, he has twenty goats herded in the wild on a 3-hectare fenced land. In a short conversation with my friend Tgk Saleh at the location of his farm, I had the opportunity to take a picture of him. He was so enthusiastic about his experience as a goat farmer that sometimes he drowned in the sweet memories, followed by laughter so loud that his toothless teeth showed 😃.
