Motivating the Steemians at Steem Ibadan Meet-up

avatar

This is a video clip from the Ibadan meet-up held on the 27th of January 2018 in Ibadan.

In this video, I explained the need for newbies to be able to make research and work hard and let go of the entitlement mentality. Enough of the whining, steemit is hard work. If you are newbie you are more likely going to succeed, if you can make your own research and stand on your own. Instead of asking and taking and collecting all the time, look for ways to give. Add value to the blockchain, bring something to the table. That's gonna make you stand out.

On the other hand, there are many ways that steem blockchain tries to make it easier for newbies to thrive. There are many projects that are meant to support newbies and help them grow. One way to grow fast is to join a smaller group, you'll find them in Whatsapp, telegram, and discord. Everyone is welcome here even the untalented folks, especially the untalented folks. Steemit has an atmosphere that encourages people to improve and become better.

I hope you enjoy watching this.

I wish more people understood, most of them have the mentality that steemit is for making money.
And thats why some newbies dont grow fast.
Tojukaka, nice work you're doing.
I'd really love to meet you someday in Lagos.

So true. Steemit has a way of making you really engage you mind. @tojukaka, remember i actually told you steemit is work, but lately ideas have been cropping up my mind stuffs to post, and i began to wonder where its coming from. Indeed whatever you don't engage, will remain idle.

muy buen msj hermano la mayoría de ellos tienen la mentalidad de Steemit para ganar dinero.
Y es por eso que algunos novatos no crecen rápido. con tu apoyo y con la de la comunidad uno puede seguir subiendo

I wish I get to come across comments/post like this more often.. Have search endlessly for a legit way to get productive online but never got to the right answers. Heard about steemit sometimes last year but ignorance got me. Till I meet another guy who is into steemit. Oyo isn't far from here (ogbomoso). Bro please come to lautech and inspire the youth majority of us are going into scamming when we could do more for ourselves

The Truth is our dear Steem was one of the MOST UNDERRATED crypto platform out there, not until the big news of its increase in value which brought about it's being used so actively now on a daily basis.

Till tomorrow, Steem is great! You create something and watch the free market work all for you. If people like your content, you get cool bucks

Thank you for making Steem an adventure @tojukaka.

Now i suppose everyone will be posting facts to get instant $$

Soon the whole world will know about Steemit and Steem will skyrocket farther than the moon!
