@tipU Voting Service Quick Guide
This post is intended as a quick guide to all steem users that would like to promote their post with @tipU voting service :)
Buying @tipU Upvote
This works as any other upvote bot - send SBD to @tipU with link to your post in the memo.
Please note that @tipU is not a bidding bot - your payment does not compete with other vote buyers, you will receive guaranteed upvote of at least 180% of your payment.
Current Upvote Rules
- send min 0.5 SBD
- post age: max 2 days
- upvote multiplier - 180% - 300%
- if the post if flagged by @steemcleaners or @blackista-a the payment will be automatically refunded
- the newer the post, the higher upvote it can receive
@steembasicincome Free Shares For Vote Buyers
At the end of each voting session (currently 2 sessions per day) @tipU will randomly choose one of the vote buyers and send 1 STEEM with the winner name to @steembasicincome.
By this the winner receives free @steembasicincome share. From now on @steembasicincome, or one of it's accounts, will automatically upvote the winners posts. Neat!
Automatic Refunding
If by whatever reason @tipU can't upvote your post, for example because of recovering voting power, your payment will be automatically refunded with information when the upvotes will be available again.
Also any difference between your payment and the upvote value of 180% will be automatically refunded so the situation where for example you send 1 SBD and receives only $1 upvote is not possible ($ refers to post value in STEEM Dollars). You will always receive upvote of value at least 180% of your payment (1 SBD -> $1.8 upvote).

Though, are you still taking SBD investments? I noticed that you're not doing reinvest anymore. But if you're still taking SBD investments, you could still run into issues.
Yeah, I really like this feature a lot but having put some thought into it I prefer to not feel stressed in case of the SBD price pump :)
As for SBD investments - nope, reinvest and invest are tight together so also new investments are automatically send back. Today I should have time to make a post about it :)
edit: Aye, I see that some investments "came in" - that's because someone made a refund and there were "free" @tipU SP to use. Just increased the amount of @tipU SP that are "locked" for powering down.
But you aren't forcibly refunding SBD investments that were already made, yes? You'll just have to always keep that SBD on hand... which defeats the purpose of investments a little, but at least you won't disappoint users, and they'll eventually withdraw all of it if SBD does pump.

I am venturing into new area's in my steemit and Discord journey, @sames has informed me you have a bot which counts shares.
I am interested in such a bot and would like to enquire a cost to the use of your bot.
specifically I am looking to find a bot to keep a total of vote values from group members.
Our members vote at different % and reward value, I would like to be able to gain a total of all members votes in SBD value over the time of membership to the group.

If this case your second delegation should be 30 SP - this is how STEEM blockchain works. Don't worry, in few days your 17 SP will come back to you :)

Also I've tried sending bids to tipu and each time they got refunded. One refund said come back in 39 minutes. Is there a way of working out if the bot is ready to take a bid?
You can visit https://steemblockexplorer.com/@tipu to see if payments are being refunded. Im working on a better system thought.
Upvoting is working now and have worked whole day yesterday :)
The late refund was probably my fault as I was changing/resetting the service. Normally its about 1 min.

I do have currently 220 Steem Power delegated to @tipu
From what i notice with the delegation, members are receiving SBD and STEEM according with how much they delegate..
There are even examples about how much you get in return and most of them take as an example 1000 Steem Power...
Anyway i do receive SBD but since now i did not received Steem as part of the delegation... Is there a reason why?
The reason that i am asking is because i want to know as i am thinking to delegate even more.

Hi @georgemales :) the STEEM part of the profit is payed after 7 days from the start of the delegation. Thats because curation rewards are paid 7 days after the upvote. In other words @tipu receives curation rewards from your delegation after 7 days and then it can send it to you :)

I'm going to try this out. I haven't found an upvote bot that's actually profitable. Most payout less than i sent to them.
