I saw OMC(Open Music Controller) project, it's a new project. Omc had a logo but it wasn't modern logo, so I decided to offer the owner make a new logo.
This app allows to remotely control Onkyo Network Player or a Network A/V Receiver over the home network by means of "Integra Serial Communication Protocol". The app is primary aimed to get a control over music playback and sound profiles.
Benefits / Improvements
On this logo, I made a music controller app on phone icon and combined it with a remote. So, you can easly understand that this app is a music controller. I made some color variations, including the colors which the owner wants and sent them to the owner. He chose this one. I also liked this one, because this looks very modern.

Congratulation as your work being used in the playstore by project owner. I personally feel that this logo looks more like a generic glyph, but still it looks very nice on playstore download page. one suggestion though, please pay attention to uniformity of your design, in this case is the width of the elements.
