[ESP / ENGL] Los Doce Tipos de Magia (Primera Parte). Ω The Twelve Types of Magic (First Part).
El concepto de magia muchas veces es distorsionado o malentendido. Debido a que cada quien tiene su propia perspectiva, este concepto puede variar de persona en persona, no obstante podemos definirla de manera simple: Magia es el grupo de conocimientos, técnicas y procedimientos que permite obtener resultados fuera de lo común a quien la ejerce, haciendo uso de las fuerzas físicas y espirituales disponibles en este universo.
The concept of magic is often distorted or misunderstood. Because everyone has their own perspective, this concept can vary from person to person, however we can define it in a simple way: Magic is the group of knowledge, techniques and procedures that allow those who exercise it to obtain unusual results, making use of the physical and spiritual forces available in this universe.
Ahora bien, la magia implica muchas veces incomprensión y temor. Los humanos por lo general tememos a lo que no entendemos y la magia, por ser una disciplina poco conocida por la mayoría de las personas, es incomprendida, temida y muchas veces tachada de arte oscuro y maligno. Obviamente que mucha de esta mala fama, también se debe a que hay practicantes de magia que la emplean en contra de las leyes que rigen este universo, como son el libre albedrío, la ley de causa y efecto, la ley de atracción, de correspondencia, entre otras.
Now, magic often involves misunderstanding and fear. Humans generally fear what we do not understand and magic, because it is a discipline little known by most people, is misunderstood, feared and often branded as dark and evil art. Obviously, much of this bad reputation is also due to the fact that there are magic practitioners who use it against the laws that govern this universe, such as free will, the law of cause and effect, the law of attraction, of correspondence, among others.
Pensar que la magia es totalmente mala o totalmente buena es un grave error en el que muchos incurren; es por tal motivo que hoy quiero exponerles una parte de los doce tipos de magia que existen o al menos, los más comunes. En esta oportunidad me limitaré a nombrarlos, darles una breve explicación y un sencillo ejemplo; en posteriores publicaciones iré desarrollando cada una de estas categorías con mayor profundidad.
Thinking that magic is totally bad or totally good is a serious mistake that many make; It is for this reason that today I want to expose you a part of the twelve types of magic that exist or at least the most common. This time I will limit myself to naming them, giving them a brief explanation and a simple example; in subsequent publications I will develop each of these categories in greater depth.
- Magia Natural: Como su nombre lo dice, consiste en el control que podemos ejercer sobre las fuerzas de la naturaleza a través de nuestra voluntad, positividad e imaginación haciendo uso de agentes físicos. Esta magia reconoce la dualidad existente en la naturaleza: El bien y el mal, lo blanco y lo negro, lo femenino y lo masculino, el ying y el yang. Todo elemento material influye sobre el desarrollo y resultado que se obtiene. Asimismo, es la base del resto de las magias ya que todo acto mágico se realiza en el planeta, en esta dimensión y en este universo. Se basa en la Ley de la Correspondencia cuyo enunciado básicamente es: Lo que está arriba es como lo que está abajo, lo micro es igual a lo macro. Ejemplo: Cuando hacemos un ritual de salud recurriendo a las fuerzas naturales, a un árbol de poder o trasmutando con la Madre Tierra.
- Natural Magic: As its name says, it consists of the control that we can exercise over the forces of nature through our will, positivity and imagination making use of physical agents. This magic recognizes the duality existing in nature: good and evil, black and white, feminine and masculine, ying and yang. Every material element influences the development and result obtained. Likewise, it is the basis of the rest of the magic since every magical act is carried out on the planet, in this dimension and in this universe. It is based on the Law of Correspondence, whose statement is basically: What is above is like what is below, micro is equal to macro. Example: When we do a health ritual using natural forces, a tree of power or transmuting with Mother Earth.
- Magia Blanca: Su esencia es la benevolencia y se rige por valores y principios. Se basa en el control de los elementales con fines benéficos. Los elementales son las entidades vinculadas a los cuatro elementos: Tierra = gnomos; aire = sílfides; fuego = salamandras y agua = ondinas. Son seres sin cuerpos físicos y también carecen de alma. Al no poseer alma son amorales, por lo que no diferencian el bien del mal; es por tal razón que esta magia puede ser un arma de doble filo pues se corre el riesgo de ser dominados y vampirizados energéticamente por éstos. Ejemplo: Cuando se evocan a las sílfides para alejar la lluvia.
- White Magic: Its essence is benevolence and it is governed by values and principles. It is based on the control of elementals for beneficial purposes. The elementals are the entities linked to the four elements: Earth = gnomes; air = sylphs; fire = salamanders and water = undines. They are beings without physical bodies and also lack a soul. As they do not have a soul, they are amoral, so they do not differentiate good from evil; It is for this reason that this magic can be a double-edged sword since there is a risk of being dominated and energetically vampirized by them. Example: When sylphs are evoked to ward off the rain.
- Goecia o goetia: Es muy similar a la magia blanca pues también se recurre a los elementales, solo que no respeta valores ni principios, y su esencia es fundamentalmente egoísta pues depende de los intereses personales de sus practicantes, quienes sabiendo que pueden estar infringiendo las leyes universales, igual lo hacen porque solo les interesa es el resultado. La frase: “No importan los medios, solo importa el fin” resume la base de esta magia la cual es aún más peligrosa que la magia blanca, ya que puede acarrear la involución espiritual de quien la practique. Ejemplo: Cuando se hace un hechizo para enfermar a una persona.
- Goecia or goetia: It is very similar to white magic because elementals are also used, only that it does not respect values or principles, and its essence is fundamentally selfish because it depends on the personal interests of its practitioners, who knowing that they may be infringing the universal laws, they do it anyway because they are only interested in the result. The phrase: "The means do not matter, only the end matters" sums up the basis of this magic which is even more dangerous than white magic, since it can lead to spiritual involution of those who practice it. Example: When a spell is cast to make a person sick.
- Magia Mental: Es la magia asociada a poderes que depende de formas de pensamiento que han sido proyectadas por personas de mente poderosa en el plano astral. Debemos tener en cuenta que una forma de pensamiento no es una idea abstracta, sino una entidad cuyo “espíritu” o fuerza vital que le anima e impulsa, es el pensamiento que la creó. Puede decirse también que son elementales de carácter artificial, ya que tienen autonomía e individualidad. Esta magia es la que se manifiesta cuando existe una gran concentración devocional, (en una iglesia, en un culto, en un mitin político). Asimismo la magia mental se asocia a la idea de los tulpas o formas de pensamiento que adquieren cuerpo y se manifiestan en este plano físico. Ejemplo: Slender Man, personaje creado en internet el cual ha llegado al punto de incitar a algunas personas a cometer crímenes, habiendo sido reportado su avistamiento en muchas partes del mundo.
- Mental Magic: It is the magic associated with powers that depend on thought forms that have been projected by powerful-minded people on the astral plane. We must bear in mind that a thought form is not an abstract idea, but an entity whose “spirit” or vital force that animates and drives it is the thought that created it. It can also be said that they are elementals of artificial character, since they have autonomy and individuality. This magic is what is manifested when there is a great devotional concentration, (in a church, in a cult, in a political rally). Likewise, mental magic is associated with the idea of tulpas or thought forms that acquire a body and manifest themselves on this physical plane. Example: Slender Man, a character created on the internet which has reached the point of prompting some people to commit crimes, his sighting having been reported in many parts of the world.

Coincido contigo en que en esencia todas las magias converge en una misma, que podría ser la magia natural, pues como expongo en la publicación, es aquella que se conecta con la energía de este universo, pero a veces, para efectos de comprensión y educación, se requiere la categorización de la magia de forma tal que las personas conozcan las implicaciones de respetar o transgredir las leyes universales o divinas.
