Hola un saludo para todos ustedes amigos del needle,en la noche de hoy les quiero mostrar lo que he estado cosiendo hoy en la tarde,mientras no había luz,y para pasar el rato en espera de que llegara la luz,me puse a coser a mano un mini hello Kitty, utilice retazos de tela para hacerlo, porque no es muy grande ya que es en versión mini y entonces no lleva tanto material,además de eso es fácil de hacer. Espero me acompañen en esta elaboración y a ver como quedó al final.

Hello to all my needlework friends! Tonight I want to show you what I've been sewing this afternoon while the power was out. To pass the time while waiting for it to come back on, I hand-sewed a mini Hello Kitty. I used fabric scraps because it's not very big, being a mini version, so it doesn't require much material. Plus, it's easy to make. I hope you'll join me in this project and see how it turned out!

Paso 1

Comencé por marcar en la parte de atrás de la tela la forma del la cabeza y cuerpo de hello Kitty,luego recorte cada parte,el patrón lo hice guiando me de un dibujo.

I started by marking the shape of Hello Kitty's head and body on the back of the fabric, then I cut out each part. I made the pattern by following a drawing.

Paso nro 2

Ahora pase a coser primero la parte de los ojos y nariz de hello Kitty,para eso utilice las cuentas y aguja e hilo, despues pase a coser las dos partes de la cabeza con la costura punto ojal.

Step 2

Now proceed to sew first the eyes and nose of Hello Kitty, for this use beads and needle and thread, then proceed to sew the two parts of the head together with the buttonhole stitch.

Paso 3

Continúe cosiendo la parte del cuerpo,con la misma costura.

Step 3

Continue sewing the body part, using the same stitching.

Paso 4

Ahora era el momento de colocarle relleno para que el mini hello Kitty tenga forma, utilice la misma tela como relleno,lo que hice fue cortar la tela en pedacitos pequeños,y así le fui colocando a cada pieza de este relleno.

Step 4

Now it was time to add stuffing so that the mini Hello Kitty would have shape. I used the same fabric as stuffing; what I did was cut the fabric into small pieces, and that's how I added stuffing to each piece.

Después pase a coser ambas partes,me ayude de un alfiler para asegurar que no se mueva nada.

Then I proceeded to sew both parts together, using a pin to ensure that nothing moved.

Llegó el momento de colocar los detalles, entonces de la tela fucsia le hice el lacito que tiene hello Kitty a un lado de la cabeza,lo cosi y fije muy bien a mano.

Step 6

The time came to add the details, so from the fuchsia fabric I made the little bow that Hello Kitty has on one side of her head, I sewed it and secured it very well by hand.

Paso 7

Luego continúep or hacerle como un tutú como la ropa, entonces de la misma tela fucsia corte una tira y con agua e hilo fui cosiendo la tira,tenía que quedar arruchada. Y luego lo cosi y fije bien sobre el hello Kitty.

Step 7

Then I continued making a tutu-like outfit. From the same fuchsia fabric, I cut a strip and, using water and thread, I sewed the strip together, making sure it was gathered. Then I sewed it and secured it well onto the Hello Kitty.

Y como último detalle le hice un lacito igual al de la cabeza,para colocarlo en el cuello como adorno,y así amigos está listo este lindo mini hello Kitty,por su tamaño puede ser utilizado para decorar y hacer llaveros,o si son como yo solamente para hacer para decorar,me gustó mucho este mini hello Kitty,y más porque soy fan de este personaje. Gracias a todos por haberme acompañado hoy hasta una siguiente oportunidad les traeré algo nuevo.

And as a final touch, I made a little bow just like the one on her head, to wear around her neck as an ornament. And so, friends, this cute mini Hello Kitty is finished! Because of its size, it can be used to decorate and make keychains, or if you're like me, just to make it as a decoration.
