Mini Moments of Animal Crossing – Gaming Photography Contest Entry

Hello friends and video game lovers, what a joy to be back in the community after taking a break. So today I come with my batteries charged to share with you my video game photos that I got these days. And the video game selected for this occasion could not be other than my beloved game Animal Crossing in the New Horizons version. Because this is a game that, instead of standing out for its frenetic action, stands out for its calm and peaceful moments. If you are ready, I will begin with my photos and a bit of narration about these moments.

There is nothing more pleasant than that the trees on your island are orange trees, and although many don't like it ordinarily, I love them. So I go to my favorite orange tree and simply sit on the ground, leaning against its trunk to enjoy the breeze and the last hours of afternoon sun. The air gently moves the leaves and I can imagine the smell of oranges in the air.

Capturing insects and completing the collection is another activity in Animal Crossing, and as with everything in this game, it depends on the time of year and different environmental conditions for one species or another to appear. Today I captured this little butterfly with yellow and black wings; I already forgot its name, hahaha.

I hope this coin doesn't belong to any neighbor, but finders keepers, or so they say, so this little treasure among the trees will be mine. I can't help but feel happy, even though I don't think one coin will make a difference since I have to pay for the island's new bridge all by myself.

If there's something I like, it's occasionally stopping by the island's town hall, not to see the kind employees or to see what can be collected from the trash, but to see the little birds that stay perched singing on the bulletin board. Maybe they want to leave some announcement but don't know how to write.

If someone can become rich growing pumpkins, that someone will be me. I've had this pumpkin patch since I arrived on the island, and thanks to selling them I was able to pay off all the debts I took on to build my house.

If there is one small pleasure in this life, it is smelling flowers, and my wildflower garden is no exception. I am very obsessed with it, although not as much as before, when I tried to make each row have a single type of flower, but sooner or later the flowers cross, new ones appear, and uniformity is broken. So I learned to live with this imperfect but beautiful garden.

If there's one thing we know on the island, it's that a crack in the ground means treasure, treasure in the full sense of the word, from money to unique items, so let's get out the shovel and dig to see what's hidden beneath our feet.

And... it's a fossil, we found a new fossil. Although we don't know yet what it is and whether it's not on display in the museum; for that we'll have to go see Socrates, and he has as always the final word.
