El Concepto
"Sonidos de mi pueblo" no es solo una recopilación musical; es un archivo vivo de la identidad villacurana. El proyecto busca documentar, difundir y homenajear a los músicos que, desde las retretas en la Plaza Bolívar hasta los estudios modernos, han dado ritmo a la ciudad que también es conocida como "La Puerta del Llano” y “La Atenas de Aragua”El Objetivo
Rescatar el legado de nuestros grandes maestros y visibilizar el talento emergente. Queremos que el mundo escuche la diversidad que nos define: desde el sentimiento del pasaje llanero y el misticismo de nuestra música sacra, hasta el pulso de las nuevas bandas locales y boleristas.
Ejes Principales:
Raíces: Homenaje a figuras icónicas y agrupaciones que son patrimonio de nuestra cultura.
Encuentros: Sesiones acústicas grabadas en lugares emblemáticos (la Casa de la Cultura, el Calvario o portales coloniales).
Legado: Un espacio de formación donde los duchos compartan sus saberes con la juventud musical del municipio Zamora.
¿Por qué ahora?
Porque nuestra música es el hilo invisible que nos une. En un mundo globalizado, "Sonidos de mi pueblo" apuesta por lo auténtico, por lo nuestro, reafirmando que Villa de Cura sigue siendo una potencia cultural que suena con fuerza propia.

The Concept
"Sounds of My Town" is not just a musical compilation; it is a living archive of Villa de Cura's identity. The project seeks to document, disseminate, and pay tribute to the musicians who, from the band concerts in Plaza Bolívar to modern studios, have given rhythm to the city also known as "The Gateway to the Plains" and "The Athens of Aragua."The Objective
To rescue the legacy of our great masters and showcase emerging talent. We want the world to hear the diversity that defines us: from the feeling of the llanero folk music and the mysticism of our sacred music, to the pulse of new local bands and bolero singers.
- Main Themes:
Roots: A tribute to iconic figures and groups that are part of our cultural heritage.
Encounters: Acoustic sessions recorded in emblematic locations (the House of Culture, El Calvario, or colonial arcades).
Legacy: A training space where experienced musicians share their knowledge with the young musicians of the Zamora municipality.
- Why Now?
Because our music is the invisible thread that unites us. In a globalized world, "Sounds of My Town" champions authenticity, our own traditions, reaffirming that Villa de Cura remains a cultural powerhouse with its own unique sound.
