October Witness Townhall -- Wed. October 21, 2026
The nineth Witness Townhall for 2026 will take place on Wednesday starting at 12pm EST (4pm UTC).
We had a lively discussion at the September Townhall. It evolved into a panel discussion on a range of topics and issues. The conversation was thoughtful, civil, and even-handed. Great participation everyone.

The purpose of the Witness Townhall is to provide a forum for the community to meet and hear from the Witnesses. It’s a way to get to know the Witnesses so we can be more informed when we’re applying our 30 votes.

What is Rippily?
Rippily is a new platform that was released to the public in April. It’s designed for building immersive communities and hosting virtual events. I’ve been part of it since joining the closed beta in early January.
Anything we can imagine, we can pretty much build in Rippily. It continues to evolve.
Recently the developer created an improvement to the new user experience. This is one of the challenges that Hive, and just about any other platform, has.
Rippily has a free account that new users can use to experience the platform. The challenge is to make it easy to register.
Instead of needing to leave a room and go to the signup page, a user can right-click on their avatar, register, enter their verification code and upload their own custom image in one screen inside the room.
