Hay quien se pierde en busca de un cuerpo,
deja de ser,
grita soledad en la mirada,
romance;
tierra que prometes
en un beso robado cuando giro el rostro.
El cuerpo,
no importa,
sino la intención de mirar
más allá de los ojos.

Some lose themselves in search of a body,
cease to be,
scream loneliness in their gaze.
Romance leaves its marks.
A round implies dances,
a land you promise
in a stolen kiss as I turn my face away.
The body—
it does not matter;
what matters is the intent to look
beyond the eyes.
