Yo súper feliz ya que por fin después de muchísimo tiempo, tenemos un clima lluvioso en la isla y el día está demasiado rico, así que aproveché la mañana para crear un nuevo accesorio para compartir con ustedes, y se trata de unos aretes con cristales de swarovski en color azul claro que quedaron súper lindos.

Hello, Hive community! How are you all today? I’m absolutely delighted because, after what feels like ages, we’re finally having some rainy weather on the island and the day is absolutely lovely, so I made the most of the morning to create a new piece of jewellery to share with you – a pair of light blue Swarovski crystal earrings that turned out absolutely gorgeous.

Para su elaboración decidí utilizar en esta oportunidad un gancho en forma de anzuelo, pero como no tenía en casa, lo elaboré yo misma, cosa que me encanta porque puedo personalizar y al final termino con un accesorio conpletamente original. Además utilicé eslabones de cadena y cristales de swarovski azul claro lo que terminó en un accesorio precioso.

For this piece, I decided to use a hook shaped like a fishhook, but as I didn’t have one at home, I made it myself – which I love because I can personalise it and end up with a completely original accessory. I also used chain links and light blue Swarovski crystals, which resulted in a beautiful accessory.

Paso a paso/Step by step

Para la elaboración de estos aretes vamos a realizar varias piezas comenzando por el gancho del cual vamos a sujetar todas las piezas y para esto vamos a necesitar un alfiler de ojo, un balín pequeño y uno mini y lo que haremos es pasar por el alfiler el balín pequeño y el mini y justo donde queda ubicado el mini con la pinza redonda doblamos un poco hacia adelante tal como ven en la imagen.

Seguidamente tomamos un lápiz y colocamos el alfiler encima para darle la forma curveada del gancho y de esta manera queda lista la primera pieza de la que por supuesto debemos elaborar dos.

To make these earrings, we’re going to create several components, starting with the hook to which we’ll attach all the other parts. For this, we’ll need an eye pin, a small bead and a mini bead. We’ll thread the small bead and the mini bead onto the pin, and right where the mini bead sits, using round-nose pliers, we’ll bend the wire slightly forwards, as you can see in the picture.

Next, take a pencil and place the pin on top to give it the curved shape of the hook. And with that, the first piece is ready – of course, we need to make two of these.

La siguiente pieza es mucho más sencilla, ya que solamente debemos separar dos eslabones de la cadena de eslabones y listo.

The next step is much simpler, as all we have to do is remove two links from the chain and that’s it.

Seguidamente vamos a elaborar las últimas piezas que son los tres colgantes que irán en el eslabón de la cadena, pero como ven tenemos 4 piezas iguales y dos diferentes y para la primera de ellas vamos a usar un alfiler de ojos, dos tapa cuentas, un balín mini y un cristal, y de esta vamos a elaborar dos piezas.

Lo que hacemos es pasar por el alfiler de ojo una tapa cuentas, seguidamente el cristal, luego otra tapa cuentas y finalmente el balín mini y cortamos el excedente del alfiler que como en este caso solo necesitamos cerrar la pieza dejamos solo lo suficiente para doblar y de esta forma cerrar la pieza.

Para los otros cristales solo debemos pasarlos por el alfiler, cortar el excedente y cerrar de la misma manera en que lo hicimos con la pieza anterior.

Next, we’re going to make the final pieces: the three pendants that will go on the chain link. As you can see, we have four identical pieces and two different ones. For the first of these, we’ll use an eye pin, two bead caps, a mini ball, and a glass bead, and we’ll make two of these pieces.

What we do is thread a bead cap onto the eye pin, followed by the glass bead, then another bead cap and finally the mini ball, and we cut off the excess wire from the pin; as in this case we only need to close the piece, we leave just enough to bend and thus close the piece.

For the other glass beads, we simply thread them onto the pin, cut off the excess, and close them in the same way as we did with the previous piece.

En este punto ha llegado el momento de ensamblar todas las piezas y comenzaremos por pasar por el eslabón tres piezas de cristales, dejando en el centro la que tiene las tapa cuentas, y una vez tengamos dentro las tres piezas cerramos y continuamos con el siguiente paso que es conectar cada eslabón a los ganchos de nuestros zarcillos.

Para esto solo debemos abrir el aro del gancho y hacer pasar el eslabón para finalmente cerrar con ayuda de la pinza plana. Y de esta forma están listos estos bellos aretes con colgantes de cristales.

At this point, it’s time to assemble all the pieces. We’ll start by threading three crystal pieces through the link, leaving the one with the cap beads in the centre. Once all three pieces are in place, we close the link and move on to the next step, which is to attach each link to the hooks on our earrings.

To do this, simply open the loop of the hook, thread the link through, and finally close it using the flat-nose pliers. And just like that, these beautiful crystal-pendant earrings are ready.

Como pueden ver este es un proyecto bastante sencillo de elaborar, pero muy muy lindo, así que anímate y comienza a crear en casa.
