Steemit Iron Chef 2017 Week #10 : Potatoes Goes Cheesy, Cubes of Fire and Goblet of Neopolitan Yogurt Blast
My Ingredients
Here are my ingredients :-
- Potatoes
- Chillies
- Anchovies
- Corn Kernels
- Cheese Sauce
- Mozarella Cheese
- Neopolitan Ice-Cream
- Yogurt
- Egg
- Rice
- Coconut Shavings
- Pineapple
- Beef Chunks
The Process
The potatoes are cut into cubes and stir fried in chilli paste with friend anchovies and marinated beef chunks. The rice is cooked with pandan leaves and some coconut milk to bring out the fragrance. The coconut shavings are deep fried and scattered at the top of the rice to bring out the flavour.
The Pineapple is cut into shape. Doesn't require cooking but makes a very good presence because of its bright yellow body.
The remainder of the potatoes are cut boiled and then mashed. Mix with grated mozarella cheese to give it a chewy texture and sauce it with cheese sauce. This can be replaced with mayonnaise or sour cream depending on individual taste.
The neopolitan ice-cream mixed with yogurt is to ensure that the patron can douse the flame after eating the diced potatoes friend with chilli. My preference is to make it extra spicy.

The beef, anchovy and potatoes sound really good with the coconut/pandan rice! I first had those little fried anchovies in the dish Chili pan mee
Seriously? My friend from UK told me it was his first time taking fried anchovies also when he did the chilli pan mee thing...what a coincidence.
I am addicted to those anchovies and to chilli pan mee. That dish is so savory and delicious. I forgot to mention that I love your halloween snow globe!

Wow...seldom someone other than southeast asian ask for xtra spicy...but it taste better with the spiciness.
Well, I qualify because I'm from the Philippines and therefore from Southeast Asia =D!
