Egor Letov

Under the centenarian snowdrifts of biblical anecdotes, lustfull
Orthodox believers and gluttonous Catholics, abandoned trenches
and burning ant hills -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement

Under the houses and squares flooded by crowds, crowded
deserts, stinky churches, red-hot dicks and
hungry vaginas -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement

Through the mirror asylums, vocabularies, blasphemous
thoughts and drunk away money, abundantly manured
cemeteries and gardens -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement

Impenetrable,
shrill,
predatory,
desperate
sparrow flock wails in me

Centuries of snowdrifts, infirmaries, pithecanthropes, poems,
medicines, bread, shows, obligatory underground treatment procedures for all
one-eyed and humpbacks -
The eternal spring in a solitary confinement

Impenetrable,
shrill,
predatory,
desperate
sparrow flock wails in me
