Is Steemit still under DDoS attacks? It's been down/difficult all day, or is it just me? I can't seem to properly stay connected!😩

I can't seem to stay logged into Steemit, and I've been trying for hours to comment on somebody's post but I can't seem to properly connect. Steemit has been troublesome for the past two weeks since the initial DDoS attacks.

Does anybody know if these attacks continue, or where they come from? Is there anything that can be done to fix this issue? If you know anything or can give me an update on what's going on that would be greatly appreciated!

This post is both a question, and an attempt to see if the post feature is working...

Update: Apparently busy.org provides a suitable bckup for when Steemit is down! Still looking for more information about these DDoS attacks if anybody has them.. where do they come from? What can we do? What is being done? If anybody knows, please share!

I couldn't get it for 3 hours now.

Some people are still active, I don't know if they have just other connection or if they are using a different platform to write on the chain.

btw: THe "stay login" is not that you cannot. It just takes ages if it works, and if you have no connection of course you are shown as not logged in.

Apparently they use busy.org to log in. Worth to take a look I guess

I've gotten into the habit of using busy.org as my backup. It's layout is different and perhaps more pleasing to those not already super familiar with steemit, and it often is going just fine when the steemit.com website is down or slow. The blockchain powering it all has been unimpacted by the DDOS attacks and that is what busy.org, chainbb, steemit.com, esteem, and others all tap into.

It has taken several tries for me to comment on many posts, but I'm not completely unable to get in like that one day. And I'm not using busy.
But yeah, I'm curious as to what is going on, as well.
I also wondered if they are changing the site, because normally I don't have annoying red numbers telling me about new posts, and then I did for a day or two, and then they were gone, and today they are back (and the site is acting wonky again). Updates, perhaps?

Yes! I noticed these irregularities with the red numbers too. The one for feedback is especially annoying, the others can be helpful.
I think they are working behind the scenes, but I wish there was an easy way to stay informed on what's going on!

Yes. Ned's blog needs to have updates and news and what's happening type stuff.

That would be nice, but even that is hard to follow. My feed gets clogged with lots of posts, if I don't log in once a day i might miss his posts. I would prefer a real website of sorts.. I think a lot of serious investors would need that too.
