Core and Legs. Working on our center of balance and body control; that’s right, friends—in the last installment, we touched on these topics, and today, we’re continuing the routine to strengthen and develop the muscles involved. To that end, we’re incorporating dynamic and high-intensity movements to fully engage the abs and lower body. It’s very important for our bodies to maintain constant balance so that daily life isn’t a struggle; plus, it positively improves our physical health, which leads to a better quality of life. So, my friends, as I always say, don’t let anyone fall behind—because this routine is absolutely fantastic.

Warm-up Phase
When we are going to do any physical activity, it is always advisable, in fact, it should be a mandatory habit to do warm-up exercises. With them, we get the whole body in tune and reduce the possibility of acquiring any type of injury. Do not do sudden exercises without warming up first; do not risk your body by skipping a minute to warm up; come on, let's get active.
Calentamiento 1, PIERNAS ADELANTE Y ATRÁS EN SALTO MÁS GIRO DE CADERA
Postura
Warm-up 1, LEGS FORWARD AND BACK IN A JUMP PLUS HIP ROTATION
Posture
Stand with your legs hip-width apart; bend your elbows and hold your arms out in front of you horizontally.

Execution
For at least 3 minutes, use small jumps to bring one leg forward and the other backward. In that position, rotate your hips toward the same side as your front leg.

Calentamiento 2, TIJERAS MODIFICADAS
Postura
Warm-up 2, MODIFIED SCISSORS
Stance
Legs together, arms at your sides, extended downward and close to your body.

Execution
Quickly and continuously for 3 minutes, using jumps: spread your legs and arms, return to the starting position, spread your legs again, but this time raise your arms in front of you, one hand on top of the other.

It is very important to determine that if the body is not yet ready for intense activity, it should be warmed up a little more. Don't forget to take 20-second breaks between exercises and 1-2 minute breaks between sets; hydration is extremely important to replenish fluids and salts lost during exercise. On the other hand, we must try as much as possible to maintain a balanced diet and adequate rest, which contribute to achieving better physical results.
Work Stations
After warming up and checking that the body is ready for the strong action, we go to the execution of the core exercises of the routine. If you still feel that you are not ready, warm up again, avoid injuries. Remember that each exercise should be done according to your physical condition, we go little by little until you master the movements.
Estación 1, RODILLAZO FRONTAL, ESTOCADA LATERAL MÁS GOLPE HORIZONTAL
Postura
Station 1, FRONT KNEE STRIKE, SIDE LUNGES, AND HORIZONTAL STRIKE
Stance
Stand with your legs hip-width apart; bend one elbow so that your arm is held horizontally in front of you, while the other arm remains extended at your side.

Execution
An explosive workout for the core and legs; it also tones the arms. To perform the movement, deliver a powerful knee strike with the leg on the same side as the arm with the elbow bent. The leg that delivered the knee strike lowers to perform a side lunge; at the same time, we deliver a horizontal strike with the arm whose elbow is bent and quickly bend the elbow of the extended arm. We return to the starting position, but with the arms having switched sides, and repeat the same movement on the opposite side. 20 repetitions total in 4 sets.

Estación 2, PUERNTE CON GIRO DE TORSO Y TOQUE DE PISO
Postura
Station 2, BRIDGE WITH TORSO TWIST AND FOOT TOUCH
Posture
Lie on your back on the floor with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Keep your arms at your sides, flat on the floor.

Execution
This movement develops and strengthens the legs, hips, abs, and arms. Now, to perform the exercise: lift your hips to form a bridge, rotate your hips and torso—for example, to the left—so that you’re supported largely by your left shoulder, and touch the floor with your right arm extended. Return to the starting position—the bridge—then twist to the opposite side and touch the floor. Aim for 20 repetitions in 4 sets per side.

Estación 3, SENTADILLAS CERRADAS Y ABIERTAS EN SALTO A PARTIR DE SENTADILLA ABIERTA
Postura
Station 3, CLOSED AND OPEN SQUATS WITH A JUMP FROM AN OPEN SQUAT
Posture
Spread your legs in a sumo stance and perform a deep squat; keep your elbows bent and your arms in front of you.

Execution
The entire lower body is working at full capacity; engage your core in the background. From a deep squat, jump up, bring your legs together, and land in a closed-stance squat on your toes. Jump again and return to the wide-stance squat. 20 total repetitions in 4 sets.

Relajación, RODILLAS AL ABDOMEN CON PRESIÓN LEVE DE MANOS
Postura
Relaxation, KNEES TO THE ABDOMEN WITH LIGHT PRESSURE FROM THE HANDS
Posture
Legs hip-width apart, with arms extended downward at your sides.

Execution
Breathing in and out; during 3 minutes of relaxation and physical calm, we lift one knee, bring it toward the abdomen, and place both hands on our shins to apply gentle pressure.
