On the side of truth, don't hold back.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. With each passing day our world keeps changing, and things that didn't occur at all are slowly becoming normal. There are many things that were frowned upon back in the day, but today we live in a world where these things are smiled at and are applauded, and those involved in them are given the go-ahead to do it and even do more. Our world is changing, and everything in it is changing alongside it, and no one is doing anything to correct these changes; rather, we are all adapting to change and adjusting to fit in, as failure to do so makes you feel left out.

We once had a world where open correction was a thing without the one being corrected picking offense or feeling like they had been embarrassed; rather, they picked up correction and tried not to make the same mistake again. In that world you can speak your mind and your piece without having to apologize for doing so, but over time that world has become a thing of the past, and we now live in a world where we are forced to overlook things even when we are supposed to react just so we don't offend others; we let them tread on a path that might even lead to their destruction and still say nothing because we do not want to get on their bad side.
The fact that we fail to react even when we are supposed to or expected to just so we don't offend people is one of the reasons we have the type of world that we have today, a world that applauds wrong deeds, a world that uplifts the wrong people and casts down those that actually deserve to be uplifted. I am not a fan or a supporter of such a world; I am one who supports reacting when needed and how necessary. Don't react mildly when you are supposed to react harshly just because you don't want to offend people; the wrong reactions create room for them to do more wrong things, but when you react and put people in their place, they know it and stay there.
I support reacting and speaking your mind, especially when you are on the side of truth; don't allow the fear of offending people to make you become a partaker or an observer of wrongdoings. When you need to say something, say it. Who wants to be offended should not be your problem; all that matters is that you made your point and you made corrections where needed, and when necessary it is left for them to either take correction or pick offense. Failing to say something when needed is like failing to play your part when you were actually needed to play your part.
Let it be that you played your part and then they got offended that you did not play your part at all and let things fall apart. Our world is falling apart today because we are failing to play our part for reasons like not wanting to offend people, and we sit back and let them indulge in the wrong things, in the things that we clearly know are wrong. So we need to speak up when needed, especially when we are on the side of truth; we must say it rather than just sit back and watch.
