Alive and Kicking ...

Presumed lost, abandoned, stuck in hell, left for dead ... nah mate.

As of this morning (UTC) my HIVE account is restored ... thank the magic of keeping too many password managers. More on them later.

Following a hostile attempt on my life, including my entire digital identity - devices were lost, and a lot more. Time was lost, yet that is immaterial in the grand scheme of things.

Answers were long hidden in plain sight.

Some things are still getting put back together. A Google account holding 2 decades of data, an old Twitter account. Yet the best of all photography is safe on the blockchain. Hive blockchain. Earlier in 2023 and 2022 you see, I was creating many posts from this account whereby I'd fairly much curated, edited and posted a lot of my photography.

How to build unhackable blockchains since ~2014

None of this would have been possible without BitShares - open an account and if you don't have at least a BitShares cloud wallet already you're square. How is it unhackable? Because of you: Save your Account Name and Password, TATTOO them on your butcheeks if you must. Just keep them always. You are the only recovery key - Cloud wallet the only way would be for someone to get a hold of your password. You can go further and generate off-chain keysets known as a 'Local Wallet' or 'Paper Wallet'. Much like I just managed to do here on HIVE as I somehow dug out a secured copy of my master password.

#BitShares and #Hive are derived from the same underlying frameworks (you already knew that tho, right?)

BitShares is alive and kicking ... down like everything else, it has held it's head above water through some difficult trials and tribulations. The blockchain never stopped for 9 years, and is still the best tech, indeed. Time for the journey back to 10 cents, possibly a lot more. Now is the best price to buy i have EVER seen!!

Disclaimer: being optimistic never killed me yet.

Have you looked at the GitHub? BitShares is full of continual development. Many repos updated just in the past weeks. Loads of new features. Still in top 500 on CMC. https://github.com/orgs/bitshares/repositories

You should really do some research before making such innacurate statements.
