The hit parade is a very good idea as it helps encourage new steemians as not to be overwhelmed with the dier competition in the steemit community.
Am also new here so I know how much effort it takes to become a top contributor to the strength blockchain. But with the help of hit-parade, one can be able to be highlighted, neglecting whether or not you are a newbie or not.
