THE BRIDGE I NEVER CROSSED:WHAT A RABBIT TAUGHT ME ABOUT FEAR

The Bridge I Never Crossed

Last Saturday, I went to explore a small woodland near me. Phone died. No map. Just me + my fear.

Why? Because a rabbit darted across it first... then stopped halfway and looked back at me.

For 5 full minutes, that rabbit sat on the bridge. Not moving forward. Not going back. Just stuck in the middle, ears up, deciding.

What That Rabbit Taught Me About Fear

I realized something painful: "That rabbit was me."

  1. We fear bridges because of "what if"
What if the bridge breaks? What if water is deep? What if I'm not strong enough?
The rabbit wasn't scared of the bridge. It was scared of the unknown on the other side. Same with me. Same with you.

  2. Stopping in the middle is the most dangerous place
Halfway on a bridge = no safety behind you, no safety ahead. You're exposed.
I spent 2 years "halfway" in my business. Not failing, not growing. Just frozen like that rabbit.

  3. Sometimes you need to see someone cross first
The rabbit moved only when a bird flew over it. Suddenly it had courage.
Who is your "bird"? Who gives you courage to cross your own bridges?

"The Moment I Crossed
I took one step. Then another. The bridge didn't break. The water was shallow.
On the other side? Wild daisies. Peace. A path I never knew existed.

Neoxians, here's the truth: "Fear makes bridges look longer than they are."
