Last year I had visited a few times a therapist to speak on what the hell I might have. I needed a second opinion apart from my own. For many years I knew something was very off. Something in the things I do habitually as it appeared that was uncommon from other behaviors the other kids did. I suspected it but was in denial about it for a long time. I was told by the good doctors I have met since childhood that it was something else. My thyroid gland is off. Or that I'm dyslexic with numbers. My vitamins are just off. Regardless everything was always "modern drugs" as the answer. Poisons.
But as the years went by and my fascination into human behavior studies and psychology, and simply being naturally inclined to figuring out what is true, I came to a possibility that turned out to be shocking conclusion.
Enter therapy.
I didn't want to go into the trouble of dealing with another doc|Tor who wasn't going to take me seriously but I was surprised to have otherwise. Multiple long winded tests later, I come out diagnosed with ADHD with high probability of level 1 autism. I wanted to take more tests to make sure about the autism thing but I'll just take my chances doc because you were expensive to me. But worth it at the end.
Because of this discovery, I have come to make subtle changes in my diet and morning routine that has helped me out with this diagnosis. I'm 35 now and I do feel bad I didn't get diagnosed earlier but at the same time I'm glad I didn't because who knows how I would be if I had been forced to take the drugs they have available for ADHD when I was younger. Because after much research I have come to find out they are not worth it. But also came to figure out that the right foods and exercise and carrying a small journal everywhere actually helps tons. I feel more energized, and able to focus more on my tasks. I also have to not overwhelm myself with tasks so I have this task sheet i keep to write down what I need to do for the day, week and month so I can keep at it.
And speaking about routines i figured that the real routine for ADHDers is not keeping to and adopting a new routine after another or the same one. The real routine is the act of trying to start the one you need that best matches your personal needs. Not that you need to actually complete it from start to finish, but to just get into it at whatever point in time of the day that you remember and just go on from there as best you can. That's it.
Oh and eggs. Got to have eggs. At every meal. I used to love eggs. Used to. Now I'm swimming with the chicks but not the ones I expected to.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
