Teacher's In and Out Duties
Teachers are wonderful set of people that I so much appreciate and respect because I tagged them shapers of destiny. My Mom was a teacher before her retirement so I know what it takes to be a teacher.
The responsibilities here and there, the expectations and criticism from people and so on..... it's kind of challenging to be a teacher, I won't lie.
Even now that I have stepped into her shoes as a professional teacher, I know the significant roles teachers plays in the life of children and their worth in the society.

The moment a child is dropped off in the school compound, it's the teacher that takes full responsibilities of such child till his or her parents comes back later in the day. Teacher's disciples, instill manners and good morals in learners so that they can be a responsible being for themselves, their family and the society at large.
But where does a teacher's duty ends? Is it within the four walls of the school or beyond?
I don't think I have a clear answer to this question because even within the school premises there are some parents that are adamant in which everything they see in you as a teacher is negative. They go to the extent of telling the Headteacher that their wards aren't to be disciplined by any teacher that whatever their ward has done or will do should be reported first to them so that they can discipline such child at home.
While some Parents will emphatically tell their Ward's teacher to help them handle their child very well so as to be serious with his or her academics. We are all different in nature, so teachers need to be very careful....even extra careful in the way they discharge their duties in and out of the classroom so that they won't be over zealous and not land them in trouble.
Once a child is out of school, they becomes the responsibility of their parents and the people in their vicinity. Some parents might not want any interference at all with their ward whether you are the child's teacher or not. Some believe teacher's business with their children is within the school working hours.
As a teacher, I have set boundaries for myself once I'm out of the school. I do acknowledge my learners outside the school and play with them when necessary but I never interfere in their personal life outside the school.
Not that I usually neglect some of their acts that I see, but I deliberately choose not to entangle myself with their personal life after school hour. I also have my own life to live, so I want my learners to be free and not live a life of pretence once they see me.
I don't want to over step my boundaries at all but whatever I sense that a child is engaging in a rough play that can put his or her life in danger I will quickly step in and inform any elderly person close by so as to safeguard the situation.
Therefore, I'm always cautious of how I involve myself in matters beyond the school so I choose my approach wisely.
Thanks got visiting my blog❤️

I like how you explained both sides and set clear boundaries as a teacher. Respecting parents wishes while still caring about students safety shows wisdom and maturity.
Teachers really do shape lives but being cautious outside school is important too.
Nice write-up. There are some parents that if a teacher beat their children in school they will come and make a fuss about why the teacher beat their children not to talk of outside school, teachers just need to use their intelligence to avoid problems either in school or outside school.
