Holozing Fan Art | Ocean Healer & Drazing Fan Art 🐲🌊
Good afternoon, my dearest #Hive readers! Happy Saturday to everyone—I hope you’re having a fantastic weekend. It’s your friend Manuel here, and I’m very excited to share a new digital illustration I worked on during this past pair of days. On this occasion, I decided to take inspiration once again from the Ocean Healer (Sanadora del Océano) from the game of my dear friends at #Holozing. However, this time she is not alone! I decided to draw her accompanied by one of the dragon-type creatures known as Drazing. My idea was to represent the Ocean Healer taking a peaceful stroll around the grounds when suddenly little Drazing appeared, fluttering its wings and landing softly on her arm with total trust and confidence. I hope you really like this concept, and here is a breakdown of my creation process!
Muy buenas tardes mis queridísimos lectores y lectoras de #Hive, feliz sábado para todos, espero que estén teniendo un excelente fin de semana. Por aquí los saluda su amigo Manuel, muy emocionado de compartirles una nueva ilustración digital en la que estuve trabajando durante el último par de días. En esta oportunidad, quise inspirarme nuevamente en la Sanadora del Océano de mis queridos amigos de #Holozing, y en esta ocasión no se encontraría sola: decidí dibujarla acompañada de una de las criaturas de tipo dragón conocida como Drazing. Mi idea fue representar que la Sanadora se encontraba dando un pequeño paseo por los predios, cuando de la nada el pequeño Drazing se apareció aleteando sus alas y posándose sobre su brazo con total confianza. ¡Espero que les guste mucho el resultado y aquí les mostraré un poco del proceso de cómo la realicé!
PROCESS / PROCESO
For the concept and character design, I chose a warm three-quarter pose showing the Ocean Healer gently holding out her arm for the small dragon Drazing. I drew her featuring her short bob hair in blue tones with bright cyan highlights, expressive blue eyes, a dark crop top, high-waisted dark pants, and her stylish white jacket with blue accents and the emblem on the sleeve. Perched on her forearm, little Drazing looks back at her fondly with its silvery-blue scales, dark wings, and small horns.
Para el concepto y diseño del personaje, elegí una pose cálida de tres cuartos en la que la Sanadora del Océano extiende suavemente su brazo para recibir al pequeño dragón Drazing. La dibujé luciendo su cabello estilo bob en tonos azules con brillantes reflejos cian, profundos ojos azules, un crop top oscuro, pantalones oscuros de tiro alto y su elegante chaqueta blanca con detalles en azul y el emblema en la manga. Posado sobre su antebrazo, el pequeño Drazing la mira afectuosamente con sus escamas plateadas azuladas, alas oscuras y pequeños cuernos.
For the details and rendering, I worked carefully on smoothing the skin gradients, facial features, and clothing folds using soft airbrush techniques to achieve a polished, radiant look. I detailed the texture on her pants and jacket seams, rendered the shiny highlights on her hair strands, and polished the smooth scales and wing membranes of Drazing to give it a realistic texture.
Para los detalles y el renderizado, trabajé cuidadosamente en suavizar los degradados de la piel, las facciones del rostro y los pliegues de la ropa mediante la técnica de aerógrafo para lograr un acabado pulido y radiante. Detallé las texturas y costuras de sus pantalones y chaqueta, rendericé los reflejos brillantes en sus mechones de cabello y pulí las escamas suaves y membranas de las alas de Drazing para darle una textura realista.
For the magical elements, lighting, and environment, I set the scene outdoors on a sunny day in an open valley surrounded by mountains under a bright blue sky with soft clouds. A brilliant sun shines brightly in the upper right, casting warm highlights across their shoulders, hair, and the top surfaces of Drazing, creating a peaceful and harmonious outdoor atmosphere.
Para los elementos mágicos, la iluminación y la ambientación, ubiqué la escena al aire libre en un día soleado en un valle abierto rodeado de montañas bajo un cielo azul brillante con nubes suaves. Un sol radiante brilla desde la parte superior derecha, proyectando cálidos reflejos sobre sus hombros, cabello y la espalda de Drazing, logrando una atmósfera pacífica y armoniosa en plena naturaleza.
