#89 One Day, One Car

Today from the Italian ATS - Automobili Turismo e Sport with their first sports car that could become the synonym of the success...

The car? The ATS 2500 GT(S)

The model that was presented for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1963 with the premium design by Scaglione and its mid 2.5L V8 210 HP engine that was the source of disagreements for its founders Carlo Chiti and Giotto Bizzarrini.

Therefore there were only 8 units released between 1963 and 1965, the end of the ATS adventure.
Bizzarrini left to Lamborghini. Chiti founded Autodelta - competition department of Alfa Romeo.

@mandl the ATS model you mentioned will actually be nice to have.

I like to drive classic cars it is a whole different experience from nowadays filtered and computerized cars.

I second that. Plus there are emotions linked to these cars most of the time, we connect with it to a different level :)
