This is a very heart breaking film, I cried a lot but it was something that many people experienced in real life, so it's necessary for everyone to see it so that no one ever supports wars again.

Absolutely right , @mairene1 ! That's what makes Hotaru no Haka different. It's not just a sad film, but one that makes us realize how precious the things we often take for granted are. Seita and Setsuko keep reminding me of that. I hope works like this can serve as a reminder to everyone that war isn't a good thing. Thank you for stopping by my post.😉
