Magi SDK Embeddable Cross-chain Swap widget for HIVE, HBD, and BTC
The Magi SDK v1.0 is now available for integration!
This changes what any Hive connected website can do.
Under the hood: a selfcontained cross-chain swap widget built on Magi.
Four integration modes:
- React component
- Web Component
- SDK-only headless,
- BTC deposit flow with no wallet required.
Pool-derived pricing, CSS variable theming, neutral defaults out of the box.
What that means for you: drop native BTC and HIVE swaps into your website in 5-10 minutes and earn a % on every single trade. (default is 0% so you need to apply your own rate)
No redirects. No third-party exchanges. Your users never leave your platform.
If you run a Hive frontend, a wallet, a game, a blog you can become a cross-chain liquidity aggregator overnight.
One component, your referral address, done.
This is what DeFi infrastructure is supposed to look like.
Currently v1 is Hive ecosystem facing. You can connect the widget to any hive signer you want (even private key auth). Future additions to the SDK will allow for easy integrations with partners outside the Hive ecosystem and Bitcoin/EVM wallet connections.

While I don't understand all the dev jargon, the real world implications of this are HUGE!
Yes. To put it simply, You have this widget you see in the demo site and you can essentially plug it into any Hive website that has Hive authorization. You now have crosschain swaps available on your website.
With v2 SDK we will expand it to add more tokens, coins and Bitcoin wallet and EVM wallet logins along with Hive logins.
You set your own fee to run this on your site and if you have enough users, visitors you can act as a DEX just like Thorswap or Inleo. Earn from providing the swaps which all route via HBD.
Do they also allow you to include DEX on your own website without permission?

The real uniqueness isn't the widget it's that Hive apps can add cross-chain swaps with one line of code because the identity and signing infrastructure already exists everywhere.

Congratulations for the widget.
Being able to offer native swap between BTC and HIVE in own website is a BIG win for the Hive community.
Will probably challenge myself to launch my own DEX.
This is what DHF should have aped into since the creation of it. I coinsider this to be easily one of the best projects ever created to improve HIVE. Thank you very much for all your amazing work!
