The Most Expensive Thing Hive Can Do Right Now Is "Nothing".
Other chains are using AI to build their ecosystems right now. Not experimenting with it. Building. Protocol tooling, infrastructure, onboarding flows, market intelligence, documentation, outreach automation. We are living through the biggest shift in the history of building things and most of the Hive community is watching it from the sidelines.
The AI skeptics. They show up to every AI conversation to explain why the code can't be trusted, why you are too stupid to use the tools in front of you. Why it's a toy. Why they personally would never use it for anything important. Those that deter you from even attempting it.
I can easily use a harsher word, but no softer word applies. They are fools. The proponents of horse backed carriages in the time of rockets to the moon.
These people are actively costing the Hive ecosystem builders and valuable projects in a time where ideas no longer have a gap you could not fill between inception till execution.
Their damage is not in them not taking charge, their damage is in convincing others they should not even try to.
They're a drag on everything that tries to move.
A boulder of cynicism around everyone's neck trying to sink this chain due to their own fears.
We are right now having serious conversations about whether the problem with Hive growth is that it's called Hive.
Think about what that means. Think about the amount of energy going into that while other ecosystems are using AI to actually build products people use.
The name is not the problem. Not creating what the market actually needs is the problem. The inaction, the reliance on quick and easy ways out is the problem.
The absence of real products that real users outside our bubble actually want. And many will apparently reach for every easy lever that exists before they accept that.
There is no easy solution. There never was one. The solution is work.
Most people will take the easy way. They will attach themselves to the stupidest, most misguided non-solutions as long as it doesn't require them to put in any work. There are no cure-alls, there are no magic words that will save us.
Superman isnt coming and Wonderwoman is canceled.
There is NOTHING, there never was anything, there never will be anything, beyond working your fingers to the bone, that will ever lead the Hive blockchain beyond where it is right now.
Great ideas and real work.
And here is the insane part. The part that should actually scare you.
We are at the first moment in history where anyone can build anything they ever wanted to build. Not eventually.
Right now. Today. The barrier between having an idea and building it has never been lower and it will never be this low again relative to everyone else because everyone else is figuring it out too.
Its about every idea that never became anything because the person who had it told themselves they couldn't build it.
That person exists in the thousands on every chain. People who have been here for years. Who understand Hive better than most. Who have seen exactly what is missing, exactly what would bring users here, exactly what this blockchain needs. And they never built it. Not because the idea was bad. Because the gap between idea and execution felt too wide.
That gap is gone. It closed. You missed the memo.
And do read your memos because I know you missed to vote for the Magi proposal #378.
The window where doing this gives us an advantage over communities that haven't figured it out yet is closing.
Other communities are going for gold right now. We're arguing about a goddamn name, arguing about random nonsense and patting ourselves on the back because of how awesome we are.
But the real question is: Are you actually building something right now or are you waiting on someone else to save you?
Right now, to our ecosystem... It has never been more important to act like "voyeurs". I would say it's a must.
We need to carefully analyze all this chaos in order to draw the best lessons from it. No mistakes allowed (especially because others can do it for us this time).

You're right. AI has greatly bridged the gap. I'm not a coder, but I've been able to use AI to create scripts that will allow me to track delegators, token holders, curation rewards, calculate payouts, and I'm even working on a self-contained payout script that can run from an html file within Keychain so I don't have to host a script on a server.
It's time to build and not worry about failure.

I have to take breaks now and then these days cause it feels like working on 1-2 projects at the same time with claude is quite overwhelming. Especially when you're not in just auto-mode telling it what to do cause you know where the endgoal is, but when you have to make decisions and think hard about the best way to go about building things, feels like I'm overworking my brain at times even though Claude's doing most of the work. the bottle neck is research. A lot of "devs" are to retarded to research AI and only niche experts on their one thing.
New devs are Idea guys, so i translate it. The chain itself needs easy to use and to build on top.
It must be easy to attract users and more important cheap to onboard them. You cant have a chain that cost $ for every user to onboard + marketing cost. I say it for years.
Hive needs a second Tier wallet system with Free wallets. From here, i dont see a reason why not build on a chain that is fast and free ( ok smart contracts still suck). So some basic hard coded smart contracts on main chain are needed.
It should be easy possible to onboard at peak 50k people a day without a bottle neck or retarded costs. The value should not come to burn hive for wallets or ask for ppl to create them for you with RC. A builder is not every time a Investor.
With math behind, hive is a expensive chain to build from 0.
It must be a cheap, if not the cheapest chain. The value should come from RC demand and transactions. The design of free transactions means, we should try to max them out and scale from here.

Imagine, Magi thrives and its easy to buy and sell hive from any ( or major) other chains. Easy wallet creation, easy to manage for users + you can also shitpost if you like.
Thats IMO the best place to build on. As much hive sucks on those things, the chain did never stop or die ( most die).
IMO, the marketing for a DAPP cant be twice to pay and complicated. ( Pay for the user marketing + chain fee). I know people they there is no fee, but thats gaslight themselves.
On any other chain people download a wallet ( ok EOS not) and can play and use it. This is the real competition to beat ( other dapps fail too, doesnt mean a good idea comes around).
But i think you get the point. Be as user friendly as possible, offer the most fun possible and most utility compared to other products should win in a long run and should be doable with AI.
From here its marketing the right people to build.

its so easy from idea to product today. But the foundation needs to be rock solid.
For example HBD rates, i think they are to random ( no ruleset just vibes). A clear rule like 10y Bond yields + 3% or something like that would be way better.
Not 20% today, 15% tomorrow, then 12% and at some point 25% or 5%, who knows. Thats super gay.
Someone could probably build that and propose it in a PR.

But such little things add up in trust. I still think a hyperscale app ( hyperliquid, Polymarket, ...) would have a hard time to enjoy the current onboarding. Sure they have money, they make revenue. We should check companies either by category or just random and as a community brainstorm how these companies could benefit from Hive. We could then present solutions to these companies and see if they would be interested in our Tech.

We have quite a good amount of smart people on Hive. There are many ways we can do this approach.
We could invite CEO of a company to one of out meeting on Discord, or to make it a bit more professional we just do X spaces and just talk to that CEO as a possible Hive client, finding everything out about the company and let our community brainstorm on ideas how Hive could make things better or easier or safer or faster or maybe financially simpler. And maybe have a team set on Hive who would invite someone from a different company every week. Learn, research and find solutions.
Or, we could pick a company ourself and just talk about it and see what they do and how they do it and see if Hive could be implemented. We write out the idea with the community and once ready we connect the company ant have a call with some kind of proposal.
Tech and community are two of our strongest pillars.
Someone has to do it. Someone has to put in work. Look into which businesses, what they need, what we can build, find the builders on Hive, tell them: "Hey I want to pitch this thing to that company will you build it if they say yes".
Then you pitch.
