A Pilgrimage Visit at Simala Shrine, Sibonga, Cebu
Hello @worldmappin π
I'm grateful I had a chance to visit in one of the popular pilgrimage place in Cebu--- THE SIMALA SHRINE IN SIBONGA

We've travelled earlier to catch up the van @7:00 o'clock in the morning..It's a long travel for it took 3 hours for us to finally arrived at the pilgrimage site.

Looking at the holy sanctuary when we arrived at the place, felt so much grand and magnificent..
It's my third time visiting the place, the previous one was when I'm still single and I remembered visiting this monastery asking to grant my petitions to pass the board exam for teachers..
And so coming back here for the third time around felt so much different. It's different because there are a lot of changes now most especially in the architecture of the holy church.

My mother too was happy when I brought her to this place, to reflect and asked for physical and spiritual healing and blessings.

Though the weather seemed so hot, we still inspired to go up, fall in line and eager to offer our prayers and petitions.

Even if there's so much crowd, we still continue taking steps and continue praying offering the sacrifices made of the day.

And then successfully we headed inside the monastery, removing our shoes as a sign of reverence of our Lady of Lindogon.

So while inside, I took the chance to read the history of the church, how it began and how's it being founded..and most of all, I'm amazed reading all the testimonies of those who experienced healing and success stories of professionals.
This made me reflect more, that faith really done so much in each one of their lives..

Were grateful we survived the day's too hot weather. After praying we then proceed to the candle section, bought candles of different colors and lighted it..

Our day indeed with so much bliss as we visit the monastery..It was such a fulfilling day of reflection and gratitude..

This would be all for now..I will share to you more of our spiritual activities in my next blog journey..Byeπ
