Rusinowa Polana i Gęsia Szyja [PL/ENG]

Rusinowa Polana i Gęsia Szyja - wizyta pierwsza.

Rusinowa Polana and Gęsia Szyja – first visit.
For today, here are a few photos that predate my Z6 camera. They date back to 2019 - specifically August - when my main camera was a Nikon D500.
We set out for Rusinowa Polana and Gęsia Szyja with my wife’s sister (who was just my partner at the time) and her husband. Gęsia Szyja was the first Tatra peak we summited together. I won’t go into detail here about the trail or the location; I’ve already written about these places in a post covering a winter hike from earlier that year.
I will say, however, that the views there are outstanding in both winter and summer, and you don’t have to exert yourself too much to see them. If you search for "easiest peaks to summit in the Polish Tatras" online, Gęsia Szyja will appear high on the list. It is one of the best choices for novice hikers looking to begin their adventure with Poland’s highest mountains. We highly recommend it! ;)
The photos I’m sharing today feature a distinct editing style. I revisited the editing process several times between 2019 and 2021. The last three in particular - my personal favorites - required a significant amount of time to achieve their final look, involving work in both Lightroom and Photoshop. Unfortunately, for some reason, I lost the full-resolution copies; only have them now because I had shared them online - likely on Facebook - at some point. Now, I want to preserve these and other photos here. Hive still proves useful. And although there have been moments when I wanted to give up blogging entirely, I don't think I can bring myself to do it. After all, beyond just photos, this space allows for sharing thoughts, preserving history, and much more. I don't believe it would be possible to find an alternative that offers what this blockchain does.
