Slow success

I would never turn down the possibility of becoming a millionaire overnight.
I would only ask, what is the catch? What will I lose if I accept this ones in a lifetime offer?
If it's nothing, then I'll take it.
Someone jokingly said "You get 10 million dollars, but..... You won't wake up tomorrow"
Almost no one agreed to the offer. The only person that would agree is someone who sees no hope in a better tomorrow and is slightly suicidal and doesn't know it yet.
What we get from quick success is not just all good things. Especially if you didn't build strong character before having the success.
Another person wisely said;
If you luckily end up with a ridiculously huge amount of money over night, do nothing for the next three months, let the money breathe and most importantly, let your mind think without the awareness of the big success, you'll know what to do with it to keep it after that"
The one thing that quick success brings a lot to people is ego.
The overinflated type of ego.
Their minds put them at a level they're really not on or equipped for.
- Did you know there's a difference between a millionaire and a guy with millions of dollars.
To have is one thing, to handle is another.
Both men have millions, but the true millionaire knows how to handle it.
Usually the slow success guy, built the wealth through following principles that are the tools to keeping said wealth.
Usually, the one that was handed the wealth has not built the tools, doesn't know what keeps millions and only thinks about what to exchange the money for.
They mostly drive around with the kind of loud music that turns from attention to annoyance. (No offence to anyone that plays loud music in their cars and have eyeballs looking at them in the neighborhood).
They are the ones wearing the overpriced luxury chains and never sat to calculate the percentage of the wealth they just took to purchase that chain.
The only thing they seek to do with quick success is feed the ego. And the one thing that feeds ego is praise and applause. People don't praise unless they're impressed. So the only thing the quick success man and woman is thinking of is validation from people.
Impressing the masses, pressing down the money.
The slow success man or woman who understands what it really means to build that kind of wealth feeds not their ego but their minds with more wisdom to keep and to grow what they've built. So they seek wisdom and a seeker of wisdom is always humble.
A wise man may not be entirely devoid of ego but is constantly checking it in him.
But most importantly of all..... if you win big, don't tell anyone. No-one at all. Not friends, and most certainly not family. Give to them at a later stage in affordable amounts if you want to, but if you announce you've got a pile of money, that's when the begging will start.
You'll be an instant free ATM for everyone you know. It won't start with big asks - it's unlikely they'll ask for a house or car until the pattern is established. But you'll find they "mysteriously leave their wallet at home" when you go out for a meal where they just happen to have ordered the most expensive item on the menu. Or they'll ask you to go shopping, and make a point of saying how lovely something is and what a shame they can't quite afford it.
Plus you'll get begging letters from all around the world. That's just how things are !
Oh yes friend, I learned from watching these celebrities that went broke. The people that enter sudden wealth don't lose majority of it because of their reckless spending but because of all the hands that will be around them when they notice the wealth
