Día de jornada y de lluvia / Day of work and rain

Este fin de semana participamos en una expo feria realizada en la sede del VEN911 en Ciudad Guayana, del lado de San Félix con la participación de instituciones y empresas que venden repuestos y accesorios para vehículos, pero nosotros haciendo algo no relacionado directamente.

La jornada tenía varias áreas:

• Venta de Comida
• Venta de Repuestos para vehículos
• Servicios Públicos

En la parte de Repuestos para vehículos logré encontrar proveedor para los repuestos que necesita mi vehículo que aún se encuentra en reparación, pero encontrar buenos precios se que ayudará a corto plazo.

En cuanto a los servicios públicos se encontraba el INTTT con los trámites de licencias para conducir y certificados de salud, un documento legal realizado por médicos que garantizan que el titular tiene capacidad para conducir un vehículo sin exponer la vida propia y la de los demás por alguna condición de salud.

También participaron dos instituciones bancarias con los trámites de cada una a sus usuarios y los tribunales con asesoría a cualquiera que pudiera tener una duda o problema legal.

Esta es la parte que nos tocó organizar que quizá no tenía demasiada relación con el resto de la jornada, la parte de atención veterinaria, así que para evitar cualquier inconveniente con la presencia y circulación de animales en la zona, nuestro punto estuvo instalado en la entrada al lugar, garantizando buena visibilidad y evitando accidentes.

En total asistieron sólo 12 animales ya que la gente estaba realmente pendiente de los demás servicios, sin embargo, fueron 12 pacientes que además de la atención preventiva, sus humanos recibieron información correcta para mejorar la alimentación de sus mejores amigos, pudimos notar que parte de los problemas de piel es por desconocimiento por parte de sus tutores.

Los perros y gatos recibieron atención veterinaria, desparasitación, vitaminas y 2 casos con curas de heridas, cada pequeño detalle ayuda a preservar la salud de los animales de compañía. Pero no fueron los únicos, los comunitarios que viven en el lugar también fueron atendidos y pronto tendrán una sorpresa interesante.

Perros Comunitarios

Algo que particularmente me gustó de esta jornada, fue que los animales comunitarios, esos que son atendidos por los trabajadores y funcionarios fueron visibilizados y pronto serán esterilizados, no se gana nada con la indiferencia de ignorarlos, con pequeños pasos se evita el abandono y el maltrato que genera tanto sufrimiento en los animales.

De regreso a casa

Al terminar la jornada se desató una lluvia que duró varias horas, al iniciar hicimos una pausa para almorzar en el Centro Comercial Orinokia esperando que escampara, pero ya siendo las 4 pm teniamos que regresar a Ciudad Bolívar así que decidimos iniciar el viaje de retorno, durante más de una hora de carretera la lluvia nos acompañó y al llegar a Ciudad Bolívar todavía llovía, les cuento que hoy domingo a las 6 am fue que dejó de llover, afortunadamente fue una lluvia suave, no tan agresiva, pero se que igual cambia los planes de mucha gente.

Afortunadamente llegamos con bien y hoy domingo aprovecho a descansar y reaparecer con un post ocasional, contando un poco de lo que hay detrás de cada jornada, solo una pequeña parte.

This weekend we participated in an expo fair held at the VEN911 headquarters in Ciudad Guayana, on the San Félix side, with the participation of institutions and companies that sell spare parts and accessories for vehicles, but we were doing something not directly related.

The day had several areas:

• Food Sales
• Vehicle Spare Parts Sales
• Public Services

In the Vehicle Parts section, I managed to find a supplier for the parts my vehicle needs, which is still under repair, but finding good prices is something I know will help in the short term.

As for public services, there was the INTTT with procedures for driver's licenses and health certificates, a legal document issued by doctors that guarantees that the holder is capable of driving a vehicle without putting their own life or that of others at risk due to any health condition.

Two banking institutions also participated with the procedures for their users, and the courts provided advice to anyone who might have a legal question or problem.

This is the part that we were responsible for organizing, which perhaps did not have much connection with the rest of the event, the veterinary care part, so to avoid any inconvenience with the presence and movement of animals in the area, our station was set up at the entrance to the venue, ensuring good visibility and preventing accidents.

In total, only 12 animals attended since people were really focused on the other services; however, they were 12 patients who, in addition to preventive care, had their owners receive proper information to improve the diet of their best friends. We were able to notice that part of the skin problems are due to a lack of knowledge on the part of their guardians.

Dogs and cats received veterinary care, deworming, vitamins, and 2 cases with wound treatments; every little detail helps to preserve the health of companion animals. But they were not the only ones, the community members living in the area were also attended to and will soon have an interesting surprise.

Something that I particularly liked about this day was that the community animals, those that are cared for by the workers and officials, were made visible and will soon be sterilized. Nothing is gained by the indifference of ignoring them; with small steps, abandonment and abuse that cause so much suffering to animals can be prevented.

Back home

At the end of the day, a rain broke out that lasted several hours. At the beginning, we took a break to have lunch at the Orinokia Shopping Center, hoping it would let up, but by 4 pm we had to return to Ciudad Bolívar, so we decided to start the return trip. For more than an hour on the road, the rain accompanied us, and when we arrived in Ciudad Bolívar, it was still raining. I tell you that it wasn't until 6 am this Sunday that it stopped raining. Fortunately, it was a light rain, not too aggressive, but I know it still changes many people's plans.

Fortunately, we arrived safely and today, Sunday, I take the opportunity to rest and reappear with an occasional post, sharing a little about what is behind each day, just a small part.
