Beautiful colorful daisies made with recycled egg cartons (ENG/ESP)
Warm greetings to all my fellow artisans and artists in this wonderful community! I hope you are all well, healthy, and prosperous in everything you do each day. Today's post is another entry for the open-themed "Creative End of Year" contest!
And with all the creative excitement, my theme for today is one of my favorites: flowers. Today I'm sharing a tutorial for making beautiful, colorful daisies using recycled and eco-friendly materials. These flowers will transform an empty, sad space into a space with positive energy, where the love for handmade art shines through.

Y con toda la emoción creativa, mi temática para hoy, es una de mis favoritas las flores, hoy les comparto un tutorial para hacer unas preciosas flores de margarita de colores, elaboradas con materiales reciclados y ecológicos, que transforman un espacio vacío y triste, en un espacio con buena vibra, donde se nota el amor por el arte manual.

Materials needed:
Recycled egg carton
Dried branches from the garden tree
Scissors
6 shades of acrylic paint
Paintbrush
Hot glue stick
Hot glue gun
Woven basket for holding the daisies
Los materiales a utilizar:

Varetas secas del árbol del jardín
Tijera

The first step is to select the materials. Then, using egg cartons, cut several circular pieces from the carton with scissors, which are then shaped into petals.
Each circle is divided into seven sections, and the petals are then shaped with the scissors.
Lo primero que se hace es seleccionar los materiales, después se utiliza el cartón de huevo, y con el uso de la tijera, se cortan varias piezas circulares del cartón para luego darle forma de pétalos.
En cada uno de los círculos se cortan 7 partes, y se comienzan a definir los pétalos con la tijera.
Once we have all the flowers we need, we paint each one with a brush. At the same time, we paint the stems and let them dry for several minutes so we can work without getting paint on the flowers. Once they're dry, it's fine if they're placed together.
Completado el número de flores que vamos a necesitar, le ponemos color a cada una de las flores con el uso de un pincel, y este mismo momento vamos a pintar las varetas o tallos de las flores y dejamos varios minutos para que se puedan secar y así poder trabajar sin que se manchen de pintura las flores. Una vez estén secas no pasa nada si se juntan.

The next step is to make the center of the flowers. This step is also very easy. Here we are going to cut other cardboard circles to form the center of the daisies. We cut a 1/2 cm wide ribbon around the entire circle, then we are going to make a little roll to glue them to the daisies, on the back of the flower, since these flowers are facing in the opposite direction, it is like a flower at its most relaxed point.
Lo siguiente es hacer el centro de las flores este paso es muy fácil también, aquí vamos a cortar otros círculos de cartón para formar el centro de las margaritas, cortamos una cinta de 1/2 cm de ancho por todo el círculo, luego vamos a hacer como un rollito para pegarlos a las margaritas, en la parte posterior de la flor, ya que estas flores están como en sentido contrario, es como una flor en su punto más relajado.
Finishing the glue on the flower centers, and since the hot glue dries quickly, we'll immediately apply hot glue to the stems to attach them to the flowers. Once they're glued on, the next step is to apply yellow paint to the flower centers. If you prefer, you can paint the centers before gluing them on to avoid accidentally staining the flowers.
In this way, we'll paint and glue each of the flowers, and they'll be ready to decorate any space we can think of.
Culminando el pegado de los centros de las flores, y como la silicona es de secado rápido por ser caliente, enseguida vamos a colocar silicona caliente a los tallos para pegarlos a las flores, están pegados, lo siguiente es aplicar pintura de color amarillo para el centro de las flores, si lo prefieres puedes pintar los centros antes de pagarlos para evitar que las flores se manchen por accidente.
De esta forma vamos a pintar y pegar cada una de las flores y estarán listas para decorar cualquier lugar que se nos ocurra.
Finally, we'll place the daisies in the basket, adding a little weight at the bottom for stability. Then, we'll cover the rim with a white plastic bag to further highlight the colors and the effect of this beautiful recycled decoration.

Finalmente, colocaremos las flores de margaritas, su cesta con un poco de peso al fondo para dar estabilidad, luego cubriremos el borde con una bolsa de plástico blanca, para hacer un mayor resalte, de los colores, y efecto, de este adorno reciclado tan hermoso.
