This is my first post and it took a lot of hours to create it. 🙏 # HEROINE OF THE DAY |River Nymph LVL 1|River Nymph LVL 4|River Nymph LVL 8| |:-:|:-:|:-:| |![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/River%20Nymph_lv1.png)

9.522 - 17.116 $ | *Price at the time of writing ##### My Thoughts I generally dislike low speed, low health cards but then again magic creatures usually are a bit glass canon in various games. Cleanse is definitely not the worst skill to have but on the other hand I haven't had many situations where this skill came in handy. Maybe I should get some 🕶, who knows. # BATTLE RULES |Noxious Fumes|Mana Cap| |:-:|:-:| |![t](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/icons/rulesets/new/img_combat-rule_noxious-fumes_150.png)|![](https://i.imgur.com/RxZ6zot.png)| | All Monsters start the battle Poisoned |Some fun can be had| ##### What exactly Noxious Fumes do?

*Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.* The Poison ability is triggered 50% of the time. Poison does damage at the end of the turn and is not affected by shield or void
> 💎 It seems that Cleanse skill might come in handy! ##### Allowed Elements |Fire|Water|Earth|~~Life~~|Death|Dragon| |:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| |![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/ui_elements/quests/btn_round_fire_active.svg)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/ui_elements/quests/btn_round_water_active.svg)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/ui_elements/quests/btn_round_earth_active.svg)|![](https://i.imgur.com/QCaN5qZ.png)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/ui_elements/quests/btn_round_death_active.svg)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/website/ui_elements/quests/btn_round_dragon_active.svg)| # MY BATTLE PLAN |I will be using|I hope that my oponent won't be using| |:-:|:-:| |![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Kelya%20Frendul_lv1.png)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Thaddius%20Brood_lv1.png)| | ________________________________________________

Speed will hopefully help **River Nymph** kill before she gets killed | _________________________________________________
![](https://i.imgur.com/8bzE8GU.png)
Magic Attack won't affect **River Nymph** since I will be playing **LVL1 Nymph** | |![](https://i.imgur.com/SZNX7EU.png)
Armor won't help against poison but will keep everyone alive for a turn longer, if luck be with me! |![](https://i.imgur.com/2sfnZA7.png)
Health synergizes perfectly with Poison and will work against my lineup| ##### Other team members |Position 1|Position 2|Position 3|Position 4| |:-:|:-:|:-:|:-:| |![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Diemonshark_lv1.png)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/reward/Djinn%20Oshannus_lv1.png)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/River%20Nymph_lv1.png)|![](https://d36mxiodymuqjm.cloudfront.net/cards_by_level/chaos/Cruel%20Sethropod_lv1.png)| # THIS GUY TELLS IT BEST *** ![untitled.gif](https://media.tenor.com/I7QkHH-wak4AAAAC/rumble-wwf.gif) ##### Link To Battle 🔗[Clickity](https://splinterlands.com/?p=battle&id=sl_bc7285af39fa0bcad6ee3f0bef36f996) ##### Video # BATTLE RESULTS *** Unfortunately I got the worst possible oponent (in my opinion) **Thaddius Brood** and lost but just barely. ![](https://i.imgur.com/2sfnZA7.png) Health that **Thaddius Brood** applies at the start of battle put me at a gigantic disadvantage because my **River Nymph** just had **2 Health** left, which means she will die at the end of **round 1** no matter what. That means that she won't be able to apply her **Cleanse** ability which could help me win the fight. ##### Conclusion

Riftwing was the reason I lost and a great choice for Noxious Fumes. Paired with low health monsters that die after Poison and its Scavenge ability that increases Health each time a monster dies, it seems that it could outlive almost anyone, which is exactly what happened.

If I had the chance to repick lineup, I would definitely include Merdaali Guardian. She would last a round longer and would probably be able to heal my 1st position monster a couple of times which could change the outcome of this battle.
