Wealth is Health

I know, it looks like I've said it the other way round, and the cliche is often "Health is wealth" but then, I think two or multiple truth can coexists.
A few weeks ago. my hematologist office called to let me know that my hospital appointment is in a few weeks time, and I remembered that I was robbed, and I just couldn't afford another expensive trip.
A lot of people are lucky to have full world class medical attention available and accessible to them, now some of these people worked hard for this access, some people didn't and were rather lucky to have either a rich parent, some relatives or benefits from a functional system.
While these things still don't guarantee anything, I can tell you for a fact and from a third person point of view that having access to a good care whatever way you have it, is giving yourself extra opportunities or chance at a life, or at a better life.
Wealth is actually health and vice versa, but I'd like to focus on how having money can improve your life tremendously, health wise and otherwise. I think people underrate this for a fact.
Money can buy people, access, love and a whole lot of other things, and stability of the heart, body and mind, now I'm not actually talking about how this money is made, I'm talking about how people literally goes from below average quality of life to 100% comfortable quality of life with the right resources.
For example my health condition improve a lot from 2018, before then it was endless complications from my already preexisting health condition.
This doesn't mean I still don't have these complications, my point is that a lot of them stopped, I began to notice a huge change in how I looked and many other things and this is because I experience a little change in my finances, it was literally at point zero and going from like zero to 20% was huge, even though I didn't and still don't have that remaining 80% access.
How about the fact that people don't talk about how eating healthy can be very expensive? A lot of cheap food are very bad for the health, but we must understand that affordability is something we don't talk about.
When people try to lose it gain wealth they're advised to eat differently, most times people are advised to eat more meat or more fish, then extra veggies, Olive oil, avocado oil, sesame seeds and a lot of other expensive stuffs and the regular person would require an actual level of affordability to follow an expensive diet plan.
No one also talks about how it's cheap to eat crap stuff, and how you actually need to curate food to actually come up with something good that wouldn't be so expensive. I've very stark broke, and I've been "not so broke" and honestly the difference was unbelievable, everything actually feels noticeably better, and no one talks about how the truth about being healthy is majorly dependent on your Pocket.
Conclusion
For example a person who goes from being homeless, nomadic and broke to have a roof over your health, having decent meals and there's going to be a leap in the quality of life of that person, now imagine going from just having a roof to a decent home, better food, and an level of medical affordability, the difference immediately becomes even astronomical.
Basically there are different levels and for a level you get to, the better yoor life can actually become. I know it's more of a paradox because basically we cannot underestimate the things we can accomplish by being sound in body and mind, but having the lack of resources, means and exposure can be very impactful.
A lot of our happiness as humans is tied towards affordability, while this sounds strange, it's actually real. This is also because almost everything people need in life to feel accomplished is already commercialized, meaning that it's now difficult to attain peace and happiness in the smallest things of life
Wealth indeed translated in some measure into health as long as we are taking care of that. Ignorance is a bliss and by taking it by word, might get also wealthy people into precarious situations that could have been avoided. Prevention is key!
Exactly I think we cannot change the fact that health and wealth are intertwined and some how manages to complement how they're both sourced. You're right about prevention as well, but people also need some level of affordability for that too
Both are important to live a good life. If you have wealth but low in health how you will use that wealth to enjoy? Or if you have good health but not the wealth, how you will use your health to enjoy???
Both are necessary at some points....
Yeah, that what I meant when I said wealth is health. I think people at some point will realize that they basically work hand in hand and are interconnected and deep rotted too.
There are very few people who might get the right meaning of you...
I think everyone needs a certain amount of wealth to make sure that they have basic needs cover including healthcare. I think that removes quite a bit of stress.
You're right, nothing can replace the basic needs of a man, and honestly while it shouldn't have to cost too much, I think it's more affordable in some places and very expensive in some others
