Maqueta sobre el calentamiento global | Model on global warming

Hola, buenas noches a todos, amigos míos. Espero que estén bien. Quiero compartir con ustedes, en esta hermosa noche, cómo elaboré una maqueta sobre el calentamiento global para mi hijo pequeño, ya que le tocaba exponer las consecuencias y cómo prevenirlo. No había tenido la oportunidad de compartir con ustedes debido a problemas personales; he echado de menos esta comunidad y Hive en general.

Hello, good evening everyone, my friends. I hope you’re all doing well. On this beautiful evening, I’d like to share with you how I made a model about global warming for my young son, since he had to give a presentation on its consequences and how to prevent it. I hadn’t had the chance to share with you all due to personal issues; I’ve missed this community and Hive in general.

A continuación, los pasos a seguir:
Empecé primero con mi esfera de poliestireno, más conocida como anime, y la utilicé para representar nuestro planeta Tierra. Primero, con un rotulador dibujé el rostro, mitad enfermo y mitad sano o feliz; luego continué añadiendo pintura y color a mi planeta Tierra: mitad enfermo por las consecuencias del calentamiento global y mitad feliz o sano porque estaban ayudando a prevenir este calentamiento.

Here are the steps to follow:
I started with my polystyrene sphere, better known as Styrofoam, and used it to represent our planet Earth. First, I used a marker to draw the face, half sick and half healthy or happy; then I continued adding paint and color to my planet Earth: half sick due to the consequences of global warming and half happy or healthy because people were helping to prevent this warming.

Luego continué con la base que utilicé para realizar la maqueta; como pueden apreciar, también es de anime. Conseguí que tuviera el tamaño perfecto, no hubo necesidad de cortarla. A continuación, continué decorando la base: cubrí la mitad con foamis de color verde que simbolizan la hierba o el césped, realicé un pequeño río con piedras alrededor y, al lado, una carretera. y el otro lado lo seguí cubriendo con papel higiénico y pegamento blanco.

Then I moved on to the base I used to make the model; as you can see, it’s also made of anime. I managed to get it to the perfect size; there was no need to cut it. Next, I continued decorating the base: I covered half of it with green foam sheets symbolizing grass or lawn, created a small river with stones around it, and, next to it, a road. On the other side, I continued covering it with toilet paper and white glue.

A continuación, seguí añadiendo pintura marrón al lado que había pegado con papel higiénico; de esta manera, simbolizará la tierra agrietada y destruida por la cantidad de sol; por eso utilicé el papel para darle un relieve rocoso y agrietado.

Next, I added brown paint to the side I’d covered with toilet paper; this way, it would represent the earth cracked and destroyed by the sun’s heat; that’s why I used the paper to give it a rocky, cracked texture.

Luego seguí haciendo unas casitas o edificios con materiales de espuma; les cuento que al principio los hice medianos y luego tuve que recortarlos porque tapaban el planeta Tierra

Then I made some little houses or buildings out of foam; I’ll tell you that at first I made them medium-sized and then I had to cut them down because they were blocking the Earth

A continuación, vamos a pegar en el centro de la maqueta el planeta Tierra, mitad sano y mitad enfermo; luego, en la parte de abajo, seguí pegando los edificios

Next, we’re going to glue the Earth—half healthy and half sick—in the center of the model; then, at the bottom, I continued gluing the buildings

A continuación, para finalizar mi creación, seguí pegando en la parte superior del planeta Tierra, en el lado sano, árboles en flor, y en el lado enfermo, ramas secas y botes contaminantes; en la parte inferior del lado que simboliza el planeta sano pegué las piezas que simbolizan cómo prevenir (ahorrando agua y energía, sembrando y no utilizando productos químicos); en el lado contrario, que es el lado enfermo, pegué coches derramando gasolina sobre la tierra destruida, contenedores de basura y basura alrededor para simbolizar las consecuencias de una tierra dañada y enferma, finalizando así mi creación

Next, to finish my creation, I continued by gluing flowering trees to the top of planet Earth on the healthy side, and dry branches and polluting cans on the sick side; on the lower part of the side symbolizing the healthy planet, I glued the pieces that symbolize how to prevent damage (by saving water and energy, planting, and not using chemicals); on the opposite side, which is the sick side, I glued cars spilling gasoline onto the destroyed earth, trash cans, and trash scattered around to symbolize the consequences of a damaged and sick earth, thus finishing my creation
